Leaked Homeland Security documents obtained by Infowars reveal details of a joint DHS/FEMA national exercise set to take place this week, one of the components of which revolves around an effort to counter online dissent by a group called “Free Americans Against Socialist Tyranny,” which is disgruntled at the imposition of martial law after an earthquake in Alaska.
The document again underscores the federal government’s obsession with characterizing libertarians and conservatives as some kind of extremist radical threat.
The document (PDF) was leaked by an individual affiliated with Stewart Rhodes’ Oathkeepers organization and passed on to Infowars. It is entitled National Exercise Program – Capstone Exercise 2014 – Scenario Ground Truth.

Not sure why, maybe Jim Rob didn’t want to get involved with what he thought were “wingnuts.”
But in this Obamination age, what was farce and foil hat is now becoming real. And it’s like “aye aye sir” from the alphabet agencies because they can’t think of anything else to do (they’d lose their government sinecures if they made waves).
If there is an organization called “Free Americans Against Socialist Tyranny”, then I’m a member of it.

I should also mention that I found this story originally on Drudge Report. Drudge links to Alex Jones frequently. Free Republic should think about allowing us to post from Jones instead of making us jump through hoops to link to other sites carrying Jone’s material. Just because Jones is a 9/11 Truther shouldn’t prejudice us against using what other useful info he might be developing. We’re all grown-ups here and can evaluate data for ourselves. This is the beauty of Free Republic, we cite sources from anywhere and sort out its relevance in the Comments section. We have absolutely got to get out of “knee jerk” avoidance mode and simply let the data speak for itself.
Well if there’s an axe he grinds that is so bad that Jim Rob won’t countenance it, he’s poisoned himself. What is FR going to pop up, a special panel asking “Is this about 9/11 truthing?”
It turns out most the stuff Infowars, Jones and others were saying turns out to true...Of course there are still those who believe everything they hear/read on CNN, FOX, LA Times etc...

FEMA and Homeland Security have to desensitize thier people to carry out operations against political dissidents. What a “cyber attack” really is is anyone’s guess, but it sounds scary and mysterious...this is exactly what they need to get their people out in the field putting boots on necks.
Sign me up for FAAST.

They’ll eventually concoct all kinds of reasons to totally control/regulate the Internet...Government cannot tolerate regular people meeting and discussing the issues en-mass. TV became a controlled wasteland of distraction and deception which appeals to cup droolers and the easily entertained. No thinking required, just gawk and let the jaw swing in the breeze.
