EXCLUSIVE: President Obama is planning to unveil a 10-part plan for overhauling U.S. immigration policy via executive action -- including suspending deportations for millions -- as early as next Friday, a source close to the White House told Fox News.

The president's plans were contained in a draft proposal from a U.S. government agency. The source said the plan could be announced as early as Nov. 21, though the date might slip a few days pending final White House approval.

Obama was briefed at the White House by Homeland Security officials before leaving on his Asia-Pacific trip last week, Fox News has learned.

The president . . . shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.

I will be relieved if our country survives two more years so that we will again have a president. The usurper in our White House is a clear and present danger to freedom and to our survival, and we will need God's help to deal with this menace.

Couldn’t this be a big political blunder?

I’m wondering about the remaining Democrats in Congress, and how they might be viewing this. Obama is completely unmoored. Amnesty and monkeying with the internet? Really? This must be what those who didn’t vote demanded of him with their non-vote.

Obama has destroyed the Democratic Party. Could this be the moment the Dems turn on him? They’d be wise to do so. The recent election should be telling those who are still seated, that they will be gone if they continue backing Obama’s policies. That would be if they were to listen to those who did vote, as unlike Obama, they must.

The Dems in Congress, especially in the Senate, have more power than Obama does now. They could really upset his applecart. Will they pay him a visit and tell him to cool it? Or else?

If a Republican president tried anything like this, the briefs would already be written, the judge shopping would have been done, activists would be in court within minutes of the announcement, and a judge would rule within hours that the president is not a liberty to suspend laws with which he disagrees, with an injunction to match. The ensuing court cases would drag on indefinitely, but the executive action would be stopped in its tracks.

The Dems will not turn on Obama.

They want amnesty to get more Dem votes. It is the future of their party. Of course, it will continue to bankrupt the country, but that is not an issue.

It is not an issue because the biggest problem with all the spending - nobody feels or sees the National Debt and won’t - until it is too late. $17.5 Trillion is just a concept; a number. No one feels it.

But, when rates rise and we can no longer borrow with abandon, we will probably have a GOP President who will have to make real choices to cut expected services. We lose either way and the Dems know this. It works for them.

I think your supposition is spot on - this guy is literally bashing the dem boat against the rocks as to totally poison 2016 for them.

In the grand scheme, I'm thinking they've overplayed their hand too early....had it been 15 yrs from now - when the common core dunces hit the booth, it would have worked.....there are still too many of us bitter clingers left....for now

That said - we might see a resurgence of moderate dems.....because clearly the partys veer to the left hasn't worked for anyone

This is an enormous political windfall -- for the Republicans.

Think about it for a moment ...

The GOP establishment has been on the record for years about their support for full-blown amnesty. But they run a huge political risk if they pass it themselves through a legislative process. So they sit back and let the jug-eared nitwit of a Kenyan exchange student impose it via executive fiat. This allows them to kick and scream publicly about it, and keep the Republican base mollified in the process. But in the end they'll never do anything to undo what Obama is imposing here.

Sound familiar, folks? This is ObamaCare all over again ... and we're being played for fools by both parties.

There’s only one way now to stop this madness, and the only way it will happen is if Congress collectively grows a backbone.

Actually there is another way.

If Congress can't or won't stop him, the States will have to do it.

The West Virginia Democratic Senator will be the first to knock this down, and I think at least ten more will be ready to jump ship. There’s nothing on the President’s agenda to “pay” them for suffering through the past six years.

It might be early January before the full senate comes into dump on him....but I think you can dig up sixty-plus senators in January to halt his executive action.

I wouldn’t call it a blunder. His crew are leading him to way for some purpose....thinking it’ll be the number one topic of 2015. On that...they are pretty much wrong. There’s Senate investigations to come, and scandals to be settled.

No, I don't. They know exactly what they're doing.

There's a reason why we're seeing stories like this less than 10 days after Election Day. The whole strategy here -- for both parties -- is to get this amnesty done as quickly as possible ... so the whole issue is completely off the table for the 2016 election cycle.

Take him to court. Make him prove his case. Any American should have standing to challenge this. He doesn’t have the authority to circumvent our laws. This would be a landmark case that would limit presidential power for all time.
