Laura Bush, the former first lady, has hinted she would rather vote for Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump, saying she wants the next American president to be someone who cares about women in Afghanistan.

The Democratic front-runner is the only female candidate left in the race and visited Afghanistan four times during her stint as Secretary of State.

One of the many reasons Republicans resoundingly rejected Jeb this time around. The whole damn family is just too cozy with the Clintons

So true. The game is totally rigged at this point. And who wants to put up with the anal exam by Chuck Todd, MSNBC, M. Kelly, et al?

Huh? So we should let tribal terrorists host Al Queda and plot massive attacks on our cities? That’s Bill Clinton foreign policy right there. That’s how 9/11 happened. Countless Afgahn women were helped when we wiped out a lot of the Taliban. Thinking otherwise is just silly. Our issues with the Saudis have no relation to the correct actions post 9/11 in pursuing and killing off much of Al Queda and disrupting them drastically.

Since when does working for the George W. Bush administration in the days following 9/11 become worse for a conservative than supporting the Clintons?

You need to do a little reading. Your boy Cruz has been in the Bush team from the beginning and has bragged about his role in the Bush v Gore lawsuit and even brags about bringing future Chief Justice Roberts to Bush's attention. He only slunk away when W refused to give him a big role in his administration but now employs all of the Bush cronies with his campaign donations.

You’re avoiding the main point. We all know Cruz worked for the George W. Bush administration. We also know Trump is good friends with the Clintons and contributed to their campaigns and money laundering foundation.

The question is, when did it become preferred on FR to support the Clintons instead of Bush?

Clinton rape, assault and harassment victims might disagree with Laura’s view that Clinton cares about women.

We also know Trump is good friends with the Clintons and contributed to their campaigns and money laundering foundation.

And W is now Clinton's brother. But if you think for a second that the positions that Trump is advocating is in support of the Clintons then you are delusional. Everybody on this site has complained forever about illegals and RINOs and terrible economic policies and now that Trump has decided to champion those issues at great risk to his life and prosperity you complain that he's like the Clintons?

Cruz was Trump's mini-me through the first months of his campaign and changed nearly all of his earlier efforts to increase foreign immigration, trade policies, etc. until Trump started eliminating all the RINOs and exposing all the crony corruption in the uniparty then Cruz morphed into the anti-Trump to help the elites stop Trump so it would be easier for them to manipulate the convention. It didn't take much effort to manipulate the ever opportunist Cruz and unfortunately caused great harm to Trump.

Never in my lifetime have I witnessed such open contempt for anyone and I thank Trump for exposing the rotten to the core crony corruption so prevalent in today's Congress and Republican leadership.

He has earned my support and I intend to vote for him in the general election even if I have to write in his name and there are millions more like me. Cruz has been exposed and will NEVER be elected president.

How Glenn Beck Says He Knows There Is 'Not a Chance' Cruz Will Be Trump's Vice President

Senator Cruz -- Dump This Dumb S.O.B.!

Glenn Beck to Vote for Hillary if McCain is GOP Nominee Glenn Beck - Why he would of voted for Hillary instead of John McCain Glenn Beck: McCain would've been worse Glenn Beck: I May have Voted for Hillary Clinton Glenn Beck: 'I won't vote for Trump.' (Even if running against Hillary)

Why would anyone be surprised that the "brown shirts" meme now in use by the Demagogic Party got its start in the mouth of the demagogue Glenn Beck?

I call BS on the story

Not me. George W Bush and Laura consider the Clinton’s their “in-laws”. Bill calls Barbara “mom” and Barbara calls him “son”.

Politics aside (though that may not be necessary) I had no doubt long ago that the Bushes would be voting for Clinton if Jeb was not the nominee.

Let’s put it this way, if it were Jeb vs Hillary, it would have been a win- win situation for both the Bushes and Clintons.

[I think most actual conservatives realize Hillary is far more conservative than Trump.]

A blast from the recent past. This was one of them that thought Hillary was more “conservative” than Trump. Looks like about 6 days ago was the last post.
