I can attest to this. My daughter is enrolling as a Freshman at Texas Tech, and at the orientation, at least 60-70% of the incoming Freshman I saw were girls.
Who didn’t see this coming?

The company that I work for rents space at the local community college campus for company training.
Looking around on a weekday during a semester, I noticed two things:
1: The majority of the CC students were female, and
2: The largest class or subject is ESL.
A rough estimate would be 3:1 female/male.
This local CC also recently discontinued most of their STEM, Ag, and CS programs.
In a part of the country (Pacific Northwest), where all of those fields have a high demand for just those type of skills and knowledge.
It could be the obvious: Affirmative Action.
Academic scores matter.
Mattress Girl imitators and fans, cowardly college deans bullied by BLM or Antifa at Mizzou and Evergreen College also discourage many young men from enrollment.
So now men can start suing institutions like other minorities do.
We must also consider that the vast majority of college majors are worthless.
What is the percentage when we count only REAL academic majors, e.g., STEM and a very few liberal arts topics?
Gee, Academia devalues White males, treats them as a threat and targets them in a kangaroo court campus legal system. Then the schools are surprised when the young men don’t come or leave quickly. The collegians need to go back to college.
There are so many reasons why we hope that our grandsons and grand nephews don’t go to college, and this is one of the top reasons.
As smart and good looking young white alpha males, they do not need to put with this left wing hatred while paying big money to be there.
Women make the professional workplace hell because they are for the most part pain in the ass control freaks.
The universities now groom the females to be the keepers and handlers of the males, there and in the workplace.
And women have zero perspective, zero balance, zero sense of fair play.
Look what they are doing to that Google guy.
The women won't be satisfied until that guy's bowels are pulled out and burned. And what he said was the stone truth, nothing more!!

If I was pre-college age I would opt for online, STEM at a male-friendly college or academy, or trade school.
The genders need to be segregated in the formative years.
Not merely for the protection of the females.
Believe me, the females pound for pound can be as toxic as the males.

I drive by the Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine frequently. Women walking through the campus out-number men 5-1.
Irony: Males are of the only minority that is not recognized as a minority on college campuses, unless of course they fit into another minority category such as race or sexual orientation.
