President Donald Trump told Democrats Thursday that they can accept his immigration compromise or they'll get 'nothing at all.'
At the GOP's annual retreat today in West Virginia Trump said the other party might as well 'come on board' with his plan to build a border wall and give 1.8 million illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children a pathway to citizenship because 'we are not going to improve it.'
'We have to get help from the other side, or we have to elect many more Republicans. That's another way of doing it, really that's another way of doing it,' Trump said. 'They talk a good game with DACA but they don't produce.'
The president also said that it was a 'trap' to refer to the illegal immigrant youth he's offering to protect as 'Dreamers' in another slap at Democrats.
'It's not Dreamers. Don't fall into that trap,' he stated. 'It’s much different than Dreamers.'
As President Trump prepared to address Republicans' annual retreat on Thursday, he hammered Democrats in the fight over the status of the illegal immigrant youth on Twitter.
'March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Democrats are doing nothing about DACA,' Trump said. 'They Resist, Blame, Complain and Obstruct - and do nothing.'
Trump urged his massive following to 'start pushing Nancy Pelosi and the Dems to work out a DACA fix, NOW!'
In another message Trump said he was heading to 'beautiful' West Virginia, where he would be meeting with the 'great members of the Republican Party.'

Mitch can now go down in history as the greatest leader of the senate by returning to the Mr Smith Filibuster rules or doing away with the Senate filibuster and using Constitutional votes to pass the nations agenda. With 75+% of Americans in support, he should look at Chuck and say welcome aboard the Trump Train or get left at the station of historical failures. MAGA!

Yes, they get a path to citizenship in 12 years. But there are some hoops they must jump through to get on that path; No criminal record since their arrival, must speak English, must be gainfully employed and paying taxes or bona fide students in a school of some kind, and maybe a few other tidbits. Some of them; criminals, freeloaders, non-English speaking, et al, will be taking a trip south. We do not know how many that group might include.

DACA is UnNaturalization. Pinckney wanted “Congress shall establish an uniform rule of Naturalization”
Several Treaties were UnNaturalization, the Reconstruction Amendments were UnNaturalization.
All so called naturalization acts since 1870 are really UnNaturalization Acts.
Kindred means Natural. UnKindred means UnNatural.

Thomas Jefferson, in the Declaration of Independence wrote “our common kindred” I suppose this means our natural kind.
It appears the Founders placed “naturalization” in the Constitution to limit Congress immigration and citizenship to their kindred or natural kind.
Without the Southern states represented in Congress, the Union Congress unnaturalized the country.
Congress never repealed Art1 Sec 8....they should change Naturalization to UnNaturalization to make it all legal.
He gets to end the deferred action status. That should increase pressure on the Democrats.

That makes no sense to me at all. Dims can't impeach anyone, they are a minority. They would want a new EO to extend DACA, so why would they impeach him for doing so if they could?
True. Getting rid of the 60 vote requirement needs 50+1 votes, and of course a few of the usual RINO suspects will never go along. It would be much easier next year when there are 55 or 57 pub senators, and a few of the “flakes” are retired.
They already were overturned because Congress never authorized money for it. Trump partially extended DACA to give time for Congress to write a bill. He doesn’t have to do it again, and can start deporting anytime he wants.
They are citizens of other countries!!!!!
