And therein lies a HUGE problem for anyone. If you have been accused of being a spy for a foreign country and you don't even know about it....how does one clear their reputation when everything is classified top secret.

The charge that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians is fiction made up out of whole cloth.
The FISA application and warrant are the devices used by the FBI in an attempt to legitimize surveillance on the Trump campaign.
Note too, timing. The FISA application is late October 2016, less than a month before the election. The Russion collusion investigation supposedly predates that by a few months, anyway.
All this stuff is wrapped together - the best way to make sense of it is to recognize that the FBI is liars of the first order. They fabricate evidence, or take evidence they know to be fabricated, and use that to get a court order. All of this "offical manuervering" and "blessing of the court" is used to argue that they are not liars of the first order.
The FBI makes the mafia look like Boy Scouts. Not making this up, the FBI ran a "Murder, Inc." operation out of Boston. Read some Howie Carr material on that. Literally organized criminals, operating under the blessing of DOJ and courts. "Crooked" is a gross understatement.

If the case is still open / active, there is contempt which the judge would have jurisdiction. Of course the case is presumed not open any longer....
At a minimum... one would expect perjury, and conspiracy to commit perjury. For those a federal prosecutor would be involved (calling Jeff Sessions) and who is the prosecutor going to trust in the apparently corrupted FBI to help in the investigation?

They wanted to hear the people Page was talking to, not Page himself. They knew they could never get authorization to tap Trump or anyone close to him, but by listening to Page, they hoped to hear his conversations with highly-placed Trump people.
3. For the FBI, Comey signed 3 applications, McCabe signed one. For the DOJ Yates, Boente, and Rosenstein each signed one or more. Why were different people the signers? Is that typical?
No, but don't know why.
6. Is Yahoo News considered to be a credible source by the FISA court? If so, why? What makes it credible in the eyes of the court? What other online sources are considered credible?
FBI swore under oath it was true, and judge believed them.

Whoever produced the application for the authorization to tap.

That is far from unusual in DC.
12. What, specifically was meant by the “insurance policy” against President Trump discussed among Page, Strzok, and McCabe? Did this involve more than the dossier? Did it involve some other type of subversion or perhaps even an assassination attempt?
Unknown but that is a very important area of future investigation... but they will lie.

Unknown now. Judge or judges who issued tap auths have almost limitless power to punish those, especially government law enforcement types, who swore falsely in their court.

21. Is someone working to identify everyone involved in these crimes? Not just those named in the memo, but all those who participated? And secondarily, all those who knew what was going on, but said nothing?
When Sessions is replaced as AG, it will begin quickly.
22. Is the FISA court compromised? Who were the judges who signed off on these warrants? Did they actually find probable cause or are they participants in these crimes?
They are probably clean. Perhaps not diligent, but not dirty. And remember, if the head of the FBI comes before you and swears something is true, that's a lot of horsepower.

Based on interviews on Fox Business - they are supposed to be able to produce some results that further their proposition.
We need to see all the FISA Court documents for initial, and subsequent renewals.
Just think if this ultimately leads to identifying Fast and Furious or similar weapons used at Mandalay Bay or other terrorist events in the US.

There is a 99 pg. report from the Court regarding abuse of the FISA Court. IIRC.
They concealed evidence and deceived a Federal Judge....that’s ‘obstruction of justice’, which is ‘a felony’ under federal law.
....”willfully” interfering with the process of justice and law especially by influencing, threatening, harming, or impeding a witness, potential witness, juror, or judicial or legal officer or by furnishing false information in or otherwise impeding an investigation or legal process.”
“Misleading conduct” ....may consist of deliberate lies or “material omissions” (leaving out facts which are crucial to a case). It may also include knowingly submitting or inviting a judge or jury to rely on false or misleading physical evidence.
Yeah I’m thinking Contreras had to know. If he signed the FISA warrant and then found himself presiding over Flynn’s criminal case, you would think he would begin to probe a bit. These FISA judges have literally no oversight as far as I can tell.

That would be the seemingly compromised John Roberts ( another swamp that needs to be investigated)
Since 2014 4 of the 5 FISA judges appointed have been Obama or Clinton appointees

Simple . . . They hoped for ... the ability to spy on Trump with Carter Page as the pretext to be able to wire tap via a false FISA filing in case they ever “got caught” which was not expected because HRC was supposed to win. I theorize that they had to spy on Trump because their internal polling was showing that he just might win.
And she did not win. I have begun to wonder if this may be a reason her “concession speech” was delayed and also why she did not show up to concede in front of her supporters. That is, all of a sudden Obama/HRC/FBI/DOJ had to figure out how to cover these illegal FISA acts. Since there was no legal way to challenge the election, the “insurance policy” now had to be collected upon?
But Contreras was not BOTHERED by the lies and deception to get his warrant. Therefore, this is a victimless crime. /S

I believe the memo only cites the initial warrant date of October 21, 2016. Comey testified to Congress in June 2017 and stated that the dossier was “salacious and unverified.” So if it was “salacious and unverified” in June 2017, it was also “salacious and unverified” on October 21, 2016. I know Comey signed three of the warrant requests. It would be interesting to find out if he had signed that first request.
