Steven Spainhouer, one of the first people on scene at the mass shooting in Allen, Texas, has called for M4s and AR-15s to be removed from the streets despite admitting he is a 'gun lover.'
The former police and army officer said that it is long pastime automatic weapons were removed from everyday public life, on account of the rising number of mass shootings.
'I'm a gun lover, I have guns. But these M4s, AR-15s, they've got to get off the streets or this is going to keep happening, and we've got to stop that at some point,' he continued.

Now, he claims he a gun lover, was a police officer, and an army official, and yet, he's blaming an automatic ar-15 as the weapon used was in the allen mall shooting.
He's now doing interviews and putting out comments on social media, calling for a ban on ar15s and other automatic weapons.
Apparently, it appears he doesn't know what he's talking about with guns, considering his claimed background of being a gun lover, and a police and army person.
Most ar15 style firearms in civilian hads are semi-auto, and it from the videos of the shooting, it appears the shooter was using a semi automatic ar15.
Yet, he's likely to be promoted everywhere because he advocates for gun control, and the push will be a general ban on ar15 style firearms, full auto or not.
At best he’s a Fudd. More likely virtue signalling, hoping for a financial reward.

I guess it doesn’t matter anymore. Facts don’t matter anymore. Let’s just seize every weapon that can be arbitrarily classified as “automatic”. After all, seizing all forms of alcohol during Prohibition stopped alcohol abuse.

AUTOMATICS are already banned in most every state or in some you can get a federal license last I ever knew. So, banning something that is already banned will not stop these shootings. Ban all the guns you like, THE ONLY GUNS THAT WILL BE BANNED ARE THOSE THAT ARE IN THE HANDS OF THOSE OF US WHO BUY THEM LEGALLY. Then they are registered on that paper you fill out to get one at the gun shop. I have seen several programs about ghost guns being made in the Philippines and shipped either here or Mexico for shipment here to be sold cheaper. They have no S# on them. Murder someone, ditch the gun, no one knows, even if they find the gun. It is untraceable. There are literally thousands of them coming across the border now. WE are the ones they will take up, because they know we bought them. The crooks, thieves, gang bangers, mob, don’t buy their guns at the gun shop.
