It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

I will be handing out Poppy's later this morning in front of our local Krogers for the Ladies Aux of the AM Legion. We will also be handing out Yellow Ribbons at the same time.

This Memorial Poppy of the American Legion Auxiliary is made by hospitalized veterans. It is distributed to the public near Memorial Day and all donations received are used only to benefit America's veterans.

I will be "visiting my dad" 1917-1991 a WW2 Vet who served in Navy in the Pacific Theater. He is buried at a cemetery about 20 miles from here in North Olmstead (pic of me at his grave is on my profile page.. for some reason could not get it here --) ?????????????
