California schemin': Joseph Farah is mad as hell over 9th Circus Court's judicial tyranny

My outrage concerning the 9th Circus Court of Appeals decision calling off the California recall election can be boiled down to two words – judicial tyranny.

This is not hyperbole, it is a simple characterization of indisputable fact....

Illegal immigration may decide California recall

WorldNetDaily.com ^ | Thursday, September 18, 2003 | Jane Chastain
Posted on 09/18/2003 12:43 AM PDT by JohnHuang2

Illegal immigration has resurfaced as one of the top issues in California and will figure prominently in the recall election. In fact, the bill signed by Gov. Gray Davis to give driver licenses to illegal aliens has ripped the scab off the debate over Proposition 187, a 1994 measure that was passed by 59 percent of voters in the state, which Davis refused to defend in the courts.

Gray Days Ending for California GOP? (Judicial Corruption -my title)

Chicago Sun-Times | 9/18/03 | Robert Novak
Posted on 09/18/2003 7:25 AM PDT by nevergiveup

LOS ANGELES--Last Sunday, a well-placed California Democrat candidly laid out to me the situation here. Democratic Gov. Gray Davis has run a horrible campaign against his recall. The effort by Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante, the only prominent Democrat on the replacement ballot, has been even worse. Consequently, another Republican actor might soon occupy the governor's chair in Sacramento, marking the first major Democratic defeat in this state since 1994....

Recall ruling seen as challenge
By James G. Lakely
Published September 18, 2003

A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals relied heavily on the landmark Supreme Court case that settled the disputed 2000 presidential election to delay the California recall, a link legal experts called tenuous at best and a direct challenge to the high court at worst....

Schwarzenegger Talks Politics With Howard Stern, Larry King

LA Times ^ | 9/18/03 | Joe Mathews
Posted on 09/18/2003 7:15 AM PDT by NormsRevenge

Employing his Hollywood celebrity, Arnold Schwarzenegger took his campaign to the talk shows of two of his famous friends Wednesday as he engaged Howard Stern and Larry King in discussions of his personality, entertainment and politics.

His appearances on Stern's morning radio show and King's evening TV show followed a session Monday on Oprah Winfrey's daytime TV program. In completing that three-bagger on the American talk circuit, Schwarzenegger — a personal friend of all three hosts who has been a frequent guest on all three shows — returned to the familiar territory of celebrity talk, where he has long promoted his movies.

His hourlong appearance on "Larry King" represents easily his longest interview of the campaign....
