An Extraordinary Prophecy (Hal Lindsey on the Pope)
hal lindsey oracle ^ | 4/09/2005 | Hal Lindsey

Posted on 04/10/2005 4:59:54 PM PDT by diverteach

Modern communication technology has helped make the Pope’s death an unparalleled event. The entire world has literally come together to praise this one man. I find that many sense that there will be some important and climactic consequences to follow the death of this Pope.

As I studied the many Bible prophecies of the Last Days, I found a most unusual extra-Biblical prophecy made by an Irish Catholic Bishop in the 12th Century. His name is St. Malachy. According to his biographer St. Bernard of Clairvaux, in his book Life of Saint Malachy, St. Malachy was known to have the gift of prophesy and even predicted the exact day and hour of his own death. St. Malachy was canonized in 1190 by Pope Clement III.

According to his biographer, St. Malachy was visiting Rome in 1139 when he went into a trance and received a vision. Malachy wrote down this extraordinary vision in which he claims to have foreseen all of the Popes from the death of Innocent II until the destruction of the Church and the Return of Christ. He named exactly 112 Popes from that time until the end.

St. Malachy wrote a few prophetically descriptive words in Latin about each one of the Popes. He then gave the manuscript to Pope Innocent II and it was deposited in the Vatican Archives where it was forgotten for several centuries. Then in 1590, it was rediscovered and published.

The interesting thing is that scholars have matched the brief 110 descriptive predictions with each of the 110 Popes and anti-Popes that there have been since Innocent II. Though they are a bit obscure, they have fit the general profile of each of the Popes.

Now these are in no way the same kind of predictions we find in the Bible....

I have referenced those passages in my post, but you have not even read them.

I read them alright, and I didn't see them unless you clumped them all together, which is not the way to interpret scripture.

Clarence Larkin's source material was the Bible Prophecy Conference movement in the 1870-1880. These conferences basically rehased John Darby's teachings of dispensationalism. You will not find a single mainstream dispensationalist recorded before John Darby in 1830. You can look, but you won't find a single one. Gallons of ink have been spilled looking for them.

John Hagee is from the pit of hell. OOPS! Not good to say that...Not good at all...Be very careful speaking ill of God's children!!!

John Hagee is not of God. Sadly, you don't even know what Hagee teaches. He teaches full blown heresy straight from Satan. Hagee is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Just one of the heresies Hagee teaches in an occultic metaphysical concept of faith that is straight from witchcraft. Hagee, like other Word of Faith heretics, like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland and others teach that faith is a physical force in the universe which can be harnessed and applied to your words to create your own reality. Sorry my dear, but that is straight from witchcraft and theosophy, and is a lie of Satan, in opposition to biblical faith, which is a channel of trust in God.

And I love the Jewish people..love the Jews too, I love them enough to tell them the truth, that they., like all are born wicked sinners, estranged from God and in need of Christ the Savior.

Aren't all Christians supposed to love everyone?
Love tells the truth. I don't think you understand what Biblical love really is.

The Jews are God's and you probably should really temper your judgements.
The Jews are just as lost as any other pagan.

I'm starting to see it too....The plot thickens. Too bad I have to leave so I can eat before church...I do love my church...And especially the music ministry. We sing very upbeat songs. We really ROCK!! I guess you should do that for Jesus...After all, He did say that if we don't praise Him the rocks would...Hey maybe He'll come tonight...Maybe tomorrow...At least we do know this one thing...We all will go someday...whether it be in the rapture or individually. Be ready I guess. Hey, I'll be around for a little while then off with the hubby!!! We will chat...

Oh KEN HAGIN AND KENNETH COPELAND? All in the same sentence? You are becoming bold!! They are all time greats! They preach the Word of God like no one can! So tell me...You say Ken Hagee and his like are from the pit of hell. You don't like Hal, Van Impe or anyone else. So who do you like? Who is teaching you on Sundays? What "denomination" are you? What church do you attend? If you can answer all those questions...?

I will be praying for you tonight Fiat volvntas tva...I will ask that the Holy Spirit opens your eyes! Be ready for a miracle!!! Be ever waiting...

No wonder you think John Hagee is a great teacher, you have been deceived by deceiving spirits.

Btw, I've witnessed lots and lots of pentecostal meetings where people are induced through psycho-socialogical manipulation to speak in gobblygook tongues. Peer pressure works well in those scenarios. Same goes for the false practice of "slain in the spirit", which is not biblical whatsoever. As a matter of fact, every single person who falls backwards in Scripture, is an enemy of God. Those who love God fall prostrate when faced with the power of God....every single one!

Be waiting...Be still and see the Glory of God! Because if you really did go to a Penecostal meeting, as you call it, you wouldn't say all these hateful things...I have been slain in the Spirit before. It's a wonderful time of being close to God and quietly listening. Just like prayer. You do pray don't you? When you pray, do you always fall on the ground prostrate? Then why did Jesus pray while He was standing? Lots of times...Look it up. He didn't always pray like that...Sometimes I'll be in Wal Mart and OOPS, I'll just be praying away in my head!!! Should I throw myself on the floor and pray?

Saying someone is from the pit of hell, as you put it, is making a judgement that you, my dear soul, are not qualified to make!!
Yes I am! John Hagee teaches, just as you have said, that the Jews are God's people, and there are two methods of salvation, one is Christ, the other is to be a Jew. That is rank heresy and is in opposition to the Gospel and Jesus, who said, I am The Way, The truth and The Life, NO ONE comes to the Father except through Me.
But John Hagee says, "Hold on there Jesus, you are confused. The Jews are God's chosen people and are saved because they are Jews, they don't need your saving blood.
What John Hagee teaches is darkness from the pit of hell itself.
And I am authorized, even commanded by God in Ephesians 5 to expose Hagee's darkness:
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.

Sadly, you have been deceived by a false theological system and by false teachers.

Dispensationlists have not twisted anything, my friend...it is only a lack of understanding of scripture that brings forth unwarranted comments such as yours.

I take from this that you believe that ONLY dispensationalists have a true comprehension of Scripture, should we also conclude from this that NOBODY in the 1800 years between the death of Christ and the formulation of dispensational thought had a true understanding of the Bible. Moreover, one must conclude that if this is the case, that for those 1800 years, Christians developed a "false" faith, so therefore the salvation of these BILLIONS of Christians is probably questionable. If this is the case, even Christ's disciples have not been saved -- because from an unbending literalist viewpoint of scripture ONLY ONE PERSON ASIDE FROM CHRIST WAS ABSOLUTELY ASSURED ENTRY INTO HEAVEN, and that would be the thief on the cross beside our Lord.

I am not trying to be argumentative here, I merely want to discern what it is you are saying and what you believe.

Surely that verse doesn't apply to men like Hagee, Van Impe, Copeland...etc..I think you couldn't stand 3 minutes with them...theology to theology...They know the Word and they know the Bible front to back...back to front! Gotta go...gotta get to church..Aren't you going to church too? What night does your church meet?

Hey wagglebee, nice to see you again. :-)

I take from this that you believe that ONLY dispensationalists have a true comprehension of Scripture
that's exactly what they are saying.

, should we also conclude from this that NOBODY in the 1800 years between the death of Christ and the formulation of dispensational thought had a true understanding of the Bible.
That would be the logical conclusion.

Moreover, one must conclude that if this is the case, that for those 1800 years, Christians developed a "false" faith, so therefore the salvation of these BILLIONS of Christians is probably questionable
That too.

Hmmmmmmm, lets see here, Kenneth Copeland teaches that Adam was made as an exact duplicate of God, exact, and thGod has a physical body that Adam was duplicated from.

Kenneth Copeland teaches that God lives on a planet in outer space.

Kenneth Copeland teaches that Jesus did not Atone for sin on the Cross, but had to go into hell(which by the way isn't even open yet) and be tortured by Satan and demons for 3 days, die spiritually and be "born again" spiritually before Atonement was made.

those are just a few of his heresies from hell.

Surely that verse doesn't apply to men like Hagee, Van Impe, Copeland...

That passage ESPECIALLY applies to the likes of Copeland, Hagin, Hagee, Benny Hinn and the rest of those charletans.

FYI, I am a member of the Presbyterian Church in America, and believe, teach, and defend the Gospel once delivered to the saints, and not a false gospel coming from the likes of those spiritual deceivers and serpents mentioned above.

If you two don't know how those teachings by Copeland make him a heretic, false teacher, wolf in sheep's clothing and enemy of God, then I truly pity you, and will pray that God open your eyes, mind and heart to the Truth.

You may very well be saved, I don't know, but I do know this, as followers of the likes of spiritual con-artists, like Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, John Hagee and I'll bet Benny Hinn, the kingpin of all the Word of Faith cultic spiritual con-artists, you are severely lacking in spiritual discernment, and talking in tongues is meaningless to the deceived.

Matthew 24:24 applies to those who are deceived by the likes of false prophets like Copeland, Hagin, Hagee and Benny Hinn:

24For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25See, I have told you beforehand.

The Elect of God are not deceived by those charletans. Since you are, I would suggest you strive to seek the Truth and I'll pray that God deliver you from the bondage of those false prophets and lies from hell.
