Matthew 24:36a (NIV) "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
We cannot know the day or the hour for the Second Coming of Jesus following the Seven Year Tribulation Period, because Jesus stated that those days would be "cut short". The Word of God does not state that the Seven Year Tribulation will start late. The Seven Year Tribulation will begin precisely on time, but it will be "cut short".
Matthew 24:21-22 (NIV) For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
The Great Tribulation is "cut short", because if the Great Tribulation were not "cut short", then "no one would survive". The Great Tribulation is "cut short" because if the Great Tribulation were not "cut short", the Antichrist would destroy every single person on earth including himself.
The reason that no one except God the Father knows the day or the hour for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, is that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is determined by that precise point in time when if Jesus did not return, man would destroy all of mankind. The time for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ has not been set by God, that time is determined by man with man's freewill.
No one can predict exactly to the day and the hour when man with man's freewill is going to bring mankind to the precise moment of self-destruction. Only God the Father knows because He is Omniscient (He knows all).
We can however, know very closely when Jesus will return so that the exact day is not a surprise.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 (NIV) But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD WILL PRECEDE THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST BY SEVEN YEARS!
We must subtract seven years from the ONE YEAR WINDOW of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in order to calculate the ONE YEAR WINDOW for the beginning of the Tribulation period.
That would put the ONE YEAR WINDOW for the beginning of the Seven Year Tribulation Period from September 29, 2008 (Rosh Hashanah) until September 18, 2009 (Rosh Hashanah).
On September 29, 2008 (Rosh Hashanah), the FIRST DAY of the ONE YEAR WINDOW for the beginning of the Seven Year Tribulation Period, the stock market fell 777 points, clearly indicating a message from God to the Bride of Christ. I believe that God's message on September 29, 2008 was that the time until the beginning of the Tribulation is close, make certain that you are prepared. (In the Egyptian Tribulation, God attacked the Egyptian's gods. On September 29, 2008 in attacking the stock market, God attacked America's god of money.)
The seven year Tribulation Period began around June 28, 2009 because that was forty-two years from the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.
THE SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD BEGAN ON THURSDAY, 9 JULY, 2009 - THE 17th OF TAMMUZ!
THE 17th OF TAMMUZ IS A HISTORIC DAY OF CALAMITY FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE!
1. It was on the 17th of Tammuz that Moses descended from Mount Sinai with the Ten Commandments and when he saw the Jewish people worshipping a golden calf, he broke the Ten Commandments.

8. It was on the 17th of Tammuz in 1944 that the Jewish people in the Kovno ghetto were sent to the death camps.
9. It was on the 17th of Tammuz in 1970 that Libya ordered the confiscation of all Jewish property.
The Seven Year Tribulation Period began with a "peace agreement" on July 9, 2009, which was the 17th of Tammuz on the Jewish calendar. The "peace agreement" will allow the Jewish people to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem, in order for the Jewish people to re-establish the ritual of daily sacrifice in their attempt to atone for the Jewish people's sin. Information concerning the existence of that "peace agreement" has not been made available to the general public, as it is necessary for the Islamic governments to prepare the Islamic public for the fact that the Islamic people are going to share the Temple Mount in Jerusalem with the Jewish people; and the government of Israel must prepare the Jewish people to accept the concessions that the Israeli government made in order to facilitate the "peace agreement". The second order to rebuild Jerusalem occurred on June 28, 1967. The Jewish people declared themselves to be the State of Israel on May 14, 1948. However, Jerusalem was not completely in Israeli control until 1967. During the "Six Day War" of 1967, Israel captured the Old City of Jerusalem which included the Temple Mount. On June 7, 1967 Jerusalem came back under Jewish control for the first time in almost 1900 years. On June 28, 1967 the Knesset passed a "decree" annexing East Jerusalem, and thereby bringing the entire city of Jerusalem back into Jewish control.
On September 17, 1978, Menachem Begin, Prime Minister of Israel put forth in a letter to United States President Jimmy Carter, the date of 28 June 1967 as the date that the Israeli Knesset passed legislation that empowered the Knesset to control Jerusalem.

It has long been quite conceivable to me that The Church would be able to tell the general time frame or season when Christ was going to return at least for the CATCHING AWAY.
That’s entirely within Biblical terms & metaphors.
People will wail and squeal about date setting and there’s been plenty of nonsense about that.
However, as long as we hold things loosely and don’t put anything seriously at risk in behalf of CONJECTURES . . . could be enlightening.
Jesus said only the FATHER in heaven knows when he is coming back, so I suggest the rest of them be quiet. God will decide and noone else, and certainly Jesus would be the first to know! What a bunch of Buzzheads.

Yeah, this is just like that crap that swept through charismatic churches in 1988. “88 reasons Christ will return in 1988” It was supposed to happen between September 22 and September 24, or something like that. I guess He is hiding out invisibly like the Jehovah’s Witnesses say.

The day that no one knows is Rosh HaShanah . Ask a Jew. Turkey Day is Thanksgiving, ask an American. The Feast of Trumpets is also Rosh HaShanah, the same Feast day. The reason is is the day no one knows is because it lasts TWO DAYS. The Jews Jesus was speaking to knew exactly what day He was speaking of. Knowing WHICH Rosh HaShanah is the trick. This alludes to the marriage Feast because the Father of the Bride Groom decided when to send His Son to get His Bride. The Rapture will happen on some Rosh HaShanah, we just aren't sure which. This guy make allot of sense, except he doesn't believe in Rapture and he has some secret knowledge of a deal made by the US and Israel.
Now if the pooh pooohers want to pooh pooh that, well, OK. But to say we can't know when Jesus will come get us or what day He comes back, isn't true. He even says we shouldn't be in the dark about it. Someone will know. Figuring out who, is the problem. This guy could be right, but there have been false prophets before. The key is for us as the Bride, to be the wise virgins and be ready when He comes for us. He is coming and it will be soon. The signs and seasons are all around us. The attitude of many here seems to be "I'm going to raise hell as long as possible and repent 10 minutes before He comes. There are multiple parables about those people in Mathew. If you knew when the Thief was coming, you would have been watching.
I find no fault in this guy's article, except I can't know about the secret Temple deal, and I believe the Bride will be Raptured before the wrath of God is released. Scripture says we are not the children of wrath. If God loves his people, why would He pour out His wrath upon us? That's not to say we will have a rosy time with all the evil here on Earth, but it won't be from the scrolls and vials in Heaven. I cannot see the church left here past the first 1260 days. I could still make sense for me to be Raptured this September, even if the Tribulation had already started.
Oh, and just as a side note, any Temple built before Jesus returns belongs to Satan. Many churches are sending money to Israel to rebuild the Temple and it will be home sweet home for the AntiChrist. Scripture tells us that Jesus will build his own Temple when He returns, after a Sabbath of course. There is nothing in Scripture that requires a Temple rebuilding before we could be Raptured. Of course, the Temple will be rebuilt for the Second Coming, but I want to be at the Marriage Feast and come back with the Lord rather than with all the plagues and pestilence on Earth. It makes me wonder how deep the preachers of these churches have looked into Scripture when they preach we need to give an offering to the Temple builders for Jesus to "come back". I was in a church that even said if you give a certain amount, you could get your name inscribed on a brick. How nice to have your name in the abode of Satan.

Just forgetting all the other nutty stuff that this guy is writing (or I should say “slaughtering”) — in just talking about the peace agreement, it presents a really peculiar and weird and twisted idea.... :-)
This is a “peace agreement” (apparently the one the Bible talks about) in which no one in the world knows about it and or even aware of it — except for him, of course... LOL... I suppose he’s got his little “beaner cap” on and that how he knows about it.
Neither the Hamas in Gaza or the Fatah in the West Bank, or Abbas of the Palestinian Authority know anything about it. Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel doesn’t know anything about it, or he’s not talking to the Israeli citizens about it, and they certainly don’t know about it.
President Obama, obviously doesn’t know a thing about a peace agreement, because with all the troubles he’s been having recently, he sure would like to announce the “good news” to the world. And no one in the U.S. knows about it (except maybe for this one guy I saw walking down the street the other day hollering and yelling to himself, staggering back and forth on the sidewalk; I might have caught something from him about this... LOL...).
Heck! This guy Pardue says that the Temple can be built in about seven or eight months. Well, maybe so..., but built without anyone seeing it being built?! What are they using “stealth technology” or a “Romulan cloaking device”...? :-)
I mean, if the Temple is being built right now, and those sacrifices are to start in another seven months from now, then where does someone actually see the construction going up? And since those Muslims over there don’t even know about the peace agreement, are they going to sit in their lawn chairs, drink lemonade and watch these Jews put up a building in their front yard? LOL....
