Halla the puppy has crashed
Not a vet or a doc, but that smells like a stroke. Won't necessarily show up on X-rays.
I just want to die.
Know the feeling. Fight it. Seek God. Remember that this ball of dirt is all temporary.
It is VERY hard out there these days, but have faith. Again, it is hard. Sigh.
Please don’t say that. I know what horrible times are like when everything goes wrong. It is better coming out the other side.

Dear Salamander - you always seem to have such a good heart and a rock-solid, level-headed outlook. hold on to that now. You have my prayers for strength for you and peace and health for your family members...2-legged, 4-legged, and the slithery ones, too. May God bless you tonight.

Please try to find a holistic vet. They can perform miracles & usually never drug up the patient for a cure.
At the very least, get an opinion & you may save Halla's life.

Your good prayers and kind thoughts are needed tonight.
I’m praying, but your strength is great because of your love for all your beasties (I guess, based on what Mrs. Slim says is that Hubby’s are in that catagory). You are esteemed here, never forget that.
Well, my best friend’s husband died today of cancer. We share birthdays, month, date and year. Real twins.
Also one of my ladies in our Bible Study group had a massive stroke last night. She is in ICU and will probably need institutional care.
These two things are coloring my opinions. These people have souls. Pray for Dick, the fellow who died. And please pray for Harriet, the lady with the massive stroke.

God gave us dogs to teach us unconditional love.

I will offer up a prayer.
We’re leaning towards a head injury because of the bonk on Sunday but the vet kept scaring us with worst case scenarios.
She doesn’t stomp but has a funny gait due to her puppy hood injuries.
She sort of ‘casts’ with her front legs because her depth perception and stereoscopic vision are sub-normal.
Today, she went from running outside to not wanting to moeg at all.
Then at the vet, she went from not moving to pulling me around the parking lot but with a strange leaning-into-turns with her head motion thing going on.
It’s really hard to describe.
Think of a kid playing ‘airplane’ and banking into turns with his arms, except she was doing it with her head and neck.
Never seen such a thing in my life.
It looked like severe vertigo or something of that nature.
She eats the same or similar foods all the time and though I never give her people food, hubby does.
[but I bet he won’t anymore]
FReeper prayers -always- help.
Somebody can probably find her original thread where she was nearly dead.
She is a miracle, already and that’s what makes this so heart wrenching.
You may count on our prayers!!!
I -hate- Rimadyl but the vet I trust with my dogs’ lives totally said that it was necessary if she had a head injury and gave us the smallest useful dose possible.
Rimadyl killed one of my dogs and he knows how much I despise it but said this time, use it.
Normally, he doesn’t even suggest it.
