If it had really happened, the article would have said so explicitly, and also stated specifically what sort of federal agents did the arresting. Besides, there is no federal legislation existing today that would allow for the arrest. A lot of pro-gay agenda groups are pushing for this legislation, but it hasn't yet been passed.

Doesn't this imply that the husband and wife were not sleeping in the same room, but in opposite ends of the house?

Interesting. It sounds like one of their kids might be involved, or else she hired some other stupid teenager to do it.

Wife's story looks impossible. Why were they sleeping at opposite ends of the house after his return from duty overseas?

Looks like she may have been unfaithful while he was away.

Thanks, CD for the update. The wife. What a shame. Hmm?........

David Shannon's death is the most recent domestic-related homicide with a connection to Fort Bragg in the past six weeks. Four Fort Bragg wives have been killed, allegedly by their husbands, since June 11. Fort Bragg officials say they are looking closely at the cases in an effort to determine whether military life contributed to the slayings.

What's with all these guys shooting their wives at this base? It makes me wonder if she felt threatened or something? Article says for financial gain, so
I guess that means life insurance.

Maybe I'm not being thorough, but I haven't found anything to suggest that this guy had been overseas. It just mentions that he had been at this post for the past two years.

The Cary woman wasn't married; it was her fiance, so I heard.

Seems to me the only people you really have to be nice to are your wives and/or fiances. :-)

Besides, there is no federal legislation existing today that would allow for the arrest.

And when did "federal legislation" ever stop the dirty men in black robes from doing whatever they wanted? A lot can be changed when jurors are TOLD how they will address a case, or no jurors are involved, at all. We're getting a bit of topic at this point, but I don't believe many of the laws protect us when you have a tyrannical system slowly emerging. They've already changed enough of the laws that they can choose to ignore some that don't suit their needs. Or, at least they can "bypass" them.

Just give it up. I'm not going to get into this with you. The fact remains that the story of the preacher getting arrested by "federal agents" is just that...a story.
