Ingraham: Cruz, Trump Need To Meet And Work Together
RealClearPolitics ^ | March 30, 2016 | Ian Schwartz

Laura Ingraham calls for Cruz and Trump "to put the country in the front seat, put your egos in the backseat" to form a coalition to fight for what is best for the country. Ingraham appeared on Tuesday night's broadcast of Hannity.

INGRAHAM: We are not going to get there if we let the establishment continue to pull the strings like everyone's a bunch of marinettes and just sit there and the establishment sits back. By the way, these candidates have no audience, they have no supporters. Nobody wants open borders. The Republican party, the voters are united against the stupid Trans-Pacific Partnership and they're against this stuff. There is no audience....

I have yet to have one Trump supporter tell me just how proud they are that Trump supported and funded obama, Hillary, Nancy, Chuckie, and Harry Reid.

Consider the implied logic of your test please....

I have yet to have one Cruz supporter tell me just how proud they are that Cruz wears shoes.

Nor one Kasich reporter tell me just how proud they are that he combs his hair.

Nor one Carson supporter telling me how proud they are that he sometimes drinks water.

Now, obviously wearing shoes, combing one's hair, or drinking water are not something to be ashamed of, so should I find it amazing that I have not heard how proud his supporters are of these things?

Now to the point of should we be ashamed of his donations. I do not think we should. If I decide to travel to a third world country, and crooked custom agents expect a little payoff in order for me to just get around and do things I should not have to bribe somebody to do. I do not think I should be held accountable for aligning myself with their little corrupt scheme politically.

Thank you, Albion Wilde.

It will never happen, Laura. Cruz is a psychopath. Donald can’t trust a psychopath.

I am extremely proud that Donald J Trump supported and funded Obama, Hillary, Nancy, Chuckie, and Harry Reid! It enabled him to have a place at the Democrat table so he could get to know them really, really well.

Since we Tea Party Folks gave the Republicans control of the House, after two years of Obama, and the Senate, after four years of Obama, we expected them to be able to stop the agenda of Obama, Hillary, Nancy, Chuckie, and Harry Reid! Instead, the Republican establishment has supported everything that Obama wanted, either directly or indirectly.

Now we have a candidate who is so outside the political establishment that Republicans, Democrats and foreigners are all scared to death of him!

However, if you like the current state of the country, continue to support Ted Cruz, and be sure to smile when Ted Cruz’s Homeland Security Officers hand you a small wooden bar, tell you it is soap, .....

What are you, another “principled conservative” taking GOPe money while attacking the frontrunner with ‘Rat Party/Leftist Media talking points? You’re a dinosaur who’s brain hasn’t yet gotten the message that a T Rex has already devoured half of it.

Nothing. Which is a 100% less than Cruz got from Goldman Sachs and Neil Bush.

“I generally agree with Laura but not on this.”

While Lyin’ Ted’s eligibilty is certainly an open question at present, the greater issue is that by his vicious, unwarranted, sophomoric attacks on Trump, he’s so “poisoned the well,” that I’d be very surprised if there could be any detente. Furthermore, there’s the issue of giving Lyin’ Ted an entree to the Presidency in the future (from a VP slot). Personally, I’d be very nervous, given Lyin’ Ted’s proclivities for World Government, that I’d nix any attempt to give him a seat on the SCOTUS either. And lastlly, there’s the issue of ongoing trust. GHWB “submarined” Ronald Reagan, we can’t have Lyin’ Ted doing the same thing to Trump.

He is eligible to run for governor of Alberta. Or mayor of Calgary.

FULL TITLE: Ingraham: Cruz, Trump Need To Meet And Work Together; "Could Be Heroes, If Not They Could Be Zeroes"

That would make me plenty nervous...Cruz flipped to the GOPe...If he flopped back, I wouldn't trust him...

Suck what up?????

This is not a level playing field.

Cruz is accused of philandering and the media has been told to ignore it.

Cruz sends 500,000 to Fiorina campaign, which may have to do with the philandering......and the press won’t touch it.

Trump gives back as good as he gets from staccato Chris Matthews....holding his own....in the town hall segment., doing a great job!
...and slips on a few words about stopping abortion..(he’s prolife), and the press immediately try to bury him with it.
Trump’s campaign manager is charged with ‘touching’ that precious flower, Michelle, when all he was doing is catching up with his boss...
...and oh yeah she touched Trump first after being warned by the Secret Service not to...
....and the press is having a field day.

NOT A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD!

Please tell me what we are suppose to SUCK UP????

Bingo. It would make no sense for Cruz to drop out when Trump has proven so adept at sabotaging his own campaign.

As an aside, the amount of venom directed at Ted Cruz in these parts is insane. The strongest conservative in the Senate is genuinely hated here because of the Trump phenomenon. It’s simply amazing to watch. I’m somewhat grateful for my poor memory, since I won’t remember which specific posters I lost respect for during this election cycle.

“I generally agree with Laura but not on this. IMO Cruz is not eligible to run.”

What does that have to do with them working together for the good of the country?

There are many places Ted Cruz could devote his talents to saving the country without being eligible for president. Consider, Supreme Court or Attorney General for example.

cruz needs to stop doing the establishments dirty work and those supporting him are just voting for the establishment and protecting the establishment they so much said they were against , until they saw a losing campaign for their guy

give it up cruz and stand against the establishment.

Guess he lied back then when he said this too.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech
