Charlie Rangle is on Hannity now and he is clearly a horse's ass. Hannity says he's not a racist. IMHO, that's BS.

Here's just one reason why he's dead wrong: he's acting like FreeRepublic is all about the comments posted to threads. At least as important as the comments (in my opinion, and I'm sure many other Freepers), and probably more important, are the articles. I get a lot of news and opinion here, from the articles posted, that I don't get anywhere else.

Medved's on same time as Hannitythebookseller, and he's 100x smarter.

YOu know, I have been here for MANY years (just recently changed my screenname, though, after what happened to Buckhead). I just don't see "childishness."
I see some petty disagreements, sometimes, as might be expected when you get, oh, a couple thousand people together to discuss a controversial subject.
But childishness? No. Lots of intelligent analysis and some of the finest humor going? Yes.

If he hasn't signed on in two years he has sure missed a lot of fun. Yeah, we have some "fringe" folks here from time to time, but I think we know "fringe" when we hear/see it. I hope he isn't going to start thinking he should control the news too--we have enough of those kind in the MSM.
