Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

I have two children with a 'cognitive disability' namely autism

My youngest is Down Syndrome. My wife and I also started late as parents. I'm concerned about what happens after we are gone. All it takes now to off someone with a lesser "quality of life" is somebody with "custody" and a death-loving judge in his pocket. This terrifying possibility now has a precedent.

Anyway, bless your heart. Two with autism has to be difficult -- rewarding but difficult. My wife and I believe that God chooses people He believes to be strong to care for these different but special people. I've also mentioned to my wife that, perhaps, it's the ones who consider themselves to be "normal" who are the ones with the handicap.

How come the COUNTY_LEVEL probate judge had the ability to defy a US Senater subpoena by demanding the execution of a Senate witness?

Because the Judicial branch of the govt, apparently at every level, is stronger than the Executive or the Legislative branches.

The other 2 branches of govt are unwilling/unable/afraid to stand up and challenge this.

We are ruled by judges at this point, judges who are all sticking up for each other.

We are living under judicial tyranny.

All I can hope for is that I will be around for quite awhile yet as I started may family young and I have other children as well.....one of the things I teach them every day is that family means you take care of each other no matter what.....

Further, I think the next thing they will try to sell us is lethal injection.

Try this on: They are starving a person to death now and they can sell the next, small step of lethal injection to the masses as being "more humane."

Don't second guess yourself now. If the beautiful people had wanted to speak out, they would have. Remember, they're beautiful and thanks to their plastic surgeons are perfect, whereas Terri, in their minds, isn't.

Well, surely. GWB says he is "fixing' Social Security for them. But Senator Grassley, R-IA, Finance Committee chairman, said no one is even mentioning Social Security to him.

If we teach them what is going on and teach them the way they should go, to walk first with God, and if we stay in constant prayer, yes. By the grace of God, they have a future.

But it's not going to be easy. We can't sleep walk any more. The reality of so much evil has been shattering. We can't forget what has happened here on Easter week 2005.

Do we know for sure they were served with those subpoenas? I thought I read somewhere that Greer eluded service.

Now they will be going after the less than "perfect" people in our country.
