I thought disabled people didn't count anymore because of their low quality of life.

A 16-year-old disabled girl was punched and forced to engage in videotaped sexual acts with several boys in a high school auditorium as dozens of students watched, according to witnesses. That is just sick.
An assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 to avoid media attention
That is just plain outrageous.
I hope that AP enjoyed their time in the education system - cuz it's over.
Oh, wait. I forgot I was thinking Democrat and responsibility for one's own actions in the same hour.
How silly of me.

I wonder what the real story is. I think it's worse than that portrayed by the article.

What kind of people and/or what kind of environment makes this kind of thing even a possibility. From the school's website: "The school is situated on the northeast quadrant of Columbus, Ohio inside the I-270 outerbelt. We are directly north of Port Columbus International Airport, south of Morse Road, and west of the suburb of Gahanna. Our school site is located just south of the new mega shopping and office development"
I don't know Columbus, but in regard to your question, it appears the answer is "Urban/Blue America."

The father did the right thing in calling the police, and both principles should be fired.
Looks like the father has a good criminal and lawsuit case.

It's okay if they were wearing their school issued condoms, right? So long as it's safe sex.

Yeah. Judge Geer would probably just say that she is taking up space like a 'potted plant' so what's the big deal?
Maybe it was a hands-on Civics class. You know, re-enacting the Clinton Presidency. Afterall, it was oral sex which isn't really sex anyway you know, so what's the big deal?
Just another example of our sick, sick liberal educational school system.

Once again, the Culture of Death is having its effects. For those who do not value the dignity of all human life, they will be willing to commit atrocities on those who do not measure up to the Fit-test. May God help those who are helpless and can't speak for themselves with the Godless barbarians of the Death Culture.

Of course, if this were a case of someone bringing a Bible to school, or praying at School, they would have had all the BAD press there.

Give them a trial, then take them out and shoot them.

No, it is believable, truly believable. Public school systems are closed societies where they fear any ray of light exposing anything. Teachers are scared to talk to the press and administrators enforce that fear. It's like Stalin's Russia in every school system I've ever seen. I'm pretty convinced they've got their own secret police forces.

Four boys suspected of involvement were sent homeWhat? Not arrested?
An assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 to avoid media attention, the statements said. The girl's father called police.
They'd have to call the cops, because I'd have kicked the asst. principle's ass for suggesting that I not call the cops.
