Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I just checked the Dallas networks - Fox has a baseball game, CBS has golf, NBC has something strange. I don't get ABC. I will keep going back and forth, but no info so far.

My parents used to belong to an Airstream Group. One year they took loads of $2 bills and $1 coins to pay all their restaurant bills..........
It let the town know how much they contributed to their economy.

I just called and left a message on their story line - said I couldn't believe they weren't covering over 3000 people to support our troops, when they've covered Cindy almost non-stop. Our troops need to know that many of us support them. And, while, the hurricane story is important, they're covering a lot of other stories that don't need to be run right now. I continued w I know Greg Kelly is there, so you should send him to the rally.
Thinking about this further, I'm waiting a few minutes and letting them know that they've been the only news channel I've watched for years, but, if they don't cover this story properly, I'm off their viewer list and I'll be telling my friends and family who watch them, too. I am really upset about this lack of coverage right now.
Think it would help if we emailed Greg Kelly?
They need to find Greg Kelley and make sure he gets pictures of the 40 families removing the crosses. If I don't see this on FOX News I will be furious!
I wish John would GO to Crawford. Does anyone know where his place is in TX?

Debra Johns was on the local radio show in Dallas yesterday afternoon for like 3 hours...very patient, and very well-spoken...
She mentioned that if Cindy Sheehan decides to run for Congress like has been suggested she should----Debra said she would run against her...and WIN!
She is a classy lady, but she is also becoming a "star"...she is representing the "good guys" very well!
