I guess his short marriage to Lisa Marie Presley got him over his Elvis fixationAND, his baseball card collection...the inhumanity of that.

In Houston, a few years, back...there was a guy named "Clark Kent" Ervin who ran for congress as a republican. A really nice, harvard educated, African American...whose older brother got to name him...and so, he was named after Superman.
Sadly, the district he was running in was Gerrymandered by Ann Richards, so, Gene Green (who, by all rights, is a moron) won.

My nephew named his son Draven after the charater in "The Crow".
BUT he is a staunch conservative and works three jobs to support his wife and three kids.

I was wondering about that when I saw "Coppola" - thought maybe the woman was a Coppola! Funny that "Coppola" is such a reputable name these days. Francis Ford Coppola got his start directing blue movies financed by the type of people found in The Godfather trilogy.

At least he is giving some comic relief. Unfortunately for the child it is permanent. Cage is a very good actor just a little lame in the real world.
Actors! His next child will be named Elvis Aaron Bruce Wayne Cage.

Thanks for correcting us. If I had seen the correct spelling, maybe I wouldn't be as shocked!
Cool you know about SR (wasn't sure if it was 1 word or 2); in what manner did he General command?

That would work too, Considering who the kid's father is.

Alice Kim Cage gave birth Monday to Kal-el Coppola Cage in New York City, said the actor's Los Angeles-based publicist, Annett Wolf. It's actually capitalized; as in "Kal-El".
To: TypeZoNegative
Cage is related to the Coppolas. Then uses their name to cash in the fame for his kid.
Ridiculous.

It is probably best if you don't think too much when watching Superman.
BTW, Kal-El, er Clark Kent, er Tom Welling is a real hunk.

Re-watched Face Off not too long ago. That was a pretty good flick. Also saw Broken Arrow. Dopey old Vinny Barbarino can play a passable character. Christian Slater, Im not so impressed with. Nicolas Cage can be OK too and seems to work well with John Revolta.
Anyway I can remember him years ago (pre-Fast Times, I think) acting in a film called Valley Girl or something like that. He was in some scene at the beach and I can clearly remember that he had one giant eyebrow and was so hairy he looked like he was wearing a bear suit or something
So now hes gone and reproduced
great.
I had a cousin that was a big bruiser and always ran around intentionally being rude/crude. Hed see some female in the mall or whatever and tell her GD, those are some big t*ts youve got, honey and things like that.
In those days I tried to stay about half drunk all the time so I found it mildly amusing. At any rate anytime hed see some female pushing a baby carriage hed make sure to tell her, hey I know what youve been up to.
I think thats why I cant remember lots of semi-important stuff its because my brain is packed full of stupid crap like that.

Nick Cage was born Nicholas Coppola. He is the son of August Coppola, a professor of comparative literature, and the nephew of Francis Ford Coppola. He changed his name to avoid blatant capitalizing on his uncle's reputation.

"There will be a meeting of DC Comix Nurds in the backroom of Best Buy to discuss this issue during lunch. Bring your 'Lunchables' and wet-dry tissues."
I'm totally ignorant on this aspect. I follow Marvel, not DC.
