THREE men have been arrested in northern Britain following the discovery of a dead cat in a microwave, police said today.
The gruesome find was made at a house in the Blue Hall Estate, Stockton, Teesside, on Boxing Day, following a party.
Cleveland Police took the female cat and the microwave away for examination and announced that three men had been arrested and bailed in connection with the incident.
More arrests were expected.
The cat's five kittens would be found new homes in the New Year.
Now there's a picture of a really GOOD kitty.

And closed the door behind itself? Come on! I don't know of a single microwave (unless it's ancient) that will work with the door open. They have a safety feature that shuts them off as soon as the door latch is popped.
We have three cats, and while I will admit that sometimes I am amazed at what they can get into (thank you Lord for not giving them opposable thumbs!), cooking themselves in the microwave is beyond even their craftiness.
I don't think that even the Viking Kitties could do it!

Anyone that would torture an animal is a sick puppy. And sick puppies need to be put to sleep. You think these clowns were role model citizens before they did this?
It would be impossible for an animal to do this alone.
The microwave oven doesn't operate until the door is closed.
Why?? Didn't they marinade them properly?
Reminds me of a line from a Charles Busch farce:

I hear they plan to use the "I'm a dog person" defense.
They have a good case.
I couldn't imagine the pain of being cooked alive, probably one of the slowest and most painful way of leaving this world. Feeding the perps to lions is a bit extreme, perhaps putting them in an industrial microwave for a 20 seconds or so would be a more fitting punishment.

I have a vote in this--and I vote that anyone who finds this funny is subhuman. I wouldn't go so far as to call them trolls, some of them have been here awhile. But I've certainly lost a lot of respect for them. That's the nice thing about free speech--it lets us know whose company to avoid.
