I'm curious how long it took snails to get from Ararat to North America.
Earthworms, too. They couldn't have survived the Flood unless they were on the ark. How the heck did they get into my backyard here in Texas? Ararat is a long ways away and I've never seen a speedy earthworm or one that could swim across the ocean.

Yep, how did the snakes get home? They would have frozen to death on the mountain. I guess God made a miracle and zapped them all home and suddenly created all the plants they needed. That must be, there are no fossils of kangaroos in Mt. Ararat, or anywhere on their route home. Its a miracle!

Noah's Flood did not happen. The evidence regarding that is clear. Not only is it an impossibility, but there is abundant evidence that rules it out completely.
Was there a localized flood that spawned this legend, along with the Gilgamesh epic? I'd guess so. Maybe it was the Black Sea rupture, but that's just a guess. Something happened early in human history that gave rise to these legends.
But for those who insist that Genesis and every other book of the bible is to be taken literally, nothing less will suffice. They are willing to suspend reality in order justify their belief.

Some of the reason why the Mt. Ararat photos are classified is not what is in them, but that we have them in the first place, the sophisticated technology is what is mostly of interest, and what else does the CIA have photos of.

Problem is, all of the age-of-earth figures we've seen since childhood are based on certain kinds of assumptions, most if not all of which are invalidated if one allows for the possibility of a worldwide flood in the last 10,000 years.
How would a flood have any effect on it? I dont understand what assumptions you are referring to.

I've seen numbers ranging from 3-10 K. That's why I used a wide range.

...a boat 450 feet long by 75 feet wide... There are some discrepencise on the exact measurement of a "cubit" generally it is estimated to be 18 inches, but an 'Egyptian cubit" is roughly two feet in length.
The anomaly pictured is roughly 1500ft by 300 ft which many believe falls into the size ratio described for the ark in the bible.
The picture looks like a rock formation to me, but what do I know, I slept through archaeology class in college.

Truly, the Iron age is the era when man broke the code to manufacture iron from the raw materials of the Earth. Yep, each age is named for the materials which came into wide use for tools, utensils and weapons.

Finding Noah's ark couldn't possibly do the theory of evolution any good. It is irrelevant to TToE.

Wow. I was not aware of that feat. Figured 6,000 meters was pretty much the max for a helicopter. Maybe they should call up the AS350 B3 for a trip to Mt. Ararat.

I don't buy it. We are constantly being shown photos from satellites that have as much or more sophistication in them. If foreign governments don't know what our capabilities are it is because they don't care.

But I can't say you're doing creation science wrong. Buahahahahaha!
Gotta be careful you don't do magical physics and faery aerodynamics wrong either!

I read something years ago concerning the Turkish/Soviet border....that and something about missile sites.
