My senior senator (Alexander) has redirected the opposition funded ENGLISH number (800-417-7666) but the SPANISH number (800-882-2005) goes through to a real person in his office. It also can be used for the Junior senator (Corker) but is likely to go to his LOCAL office instead of DC.
NOTE: You do NOT need to listen to the whole spiel - dial 800-882-2005, wait 10 seconds, then press 1 for senior or 2 for junior. Listen for the name, then press 1 to be connected.
I’ve called all these Sen. just this a.m. and each office says they are still firm against cloture and this bill.
I hope they were not blowing smoke.

She will totally lose all support from me and mine should she vote for this.

Kay BH’s office via the Spanish 800 # says she is voting against it. Gal says she was always against this . So they say she is voting NO.

One of Sununu’s top aides assured us that John will not vote for any bill that contains amnesty. He considers this bill an amnesty bill and will not vote for it. The staff member also told us that calls have been 100% against the bill.
I just talked to both Senator Burr's Washington and Winston-Salem offices. They say he has not yet decided on his vote on cloture. Of course, I recommended "NO" and gave them the reasons why.
Keep the calls coming and the pressure on!
Just say NO to Illegal Alien Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!

Thanks because Liddy Dole was counting him on her side earlier in an email.
Will call right now!
That way they can say hey I did not vote for the bill
Just make sure when you call that you mention this li'l trick. They don't think we get it.
Anyway, that's part of what turned the Ga guys.
I personally spoke this AM with Sen Burr’s staffer who stated he was against the measure. Sen. Burr’s press release reveals he’s against any attempt to limit meaningful debate, which is necessary to the metamorphasis of any bill and is against any form of amnesty for illegal aliens.
One can only hope he holds true to his word.
I believe he will.
“Burr voted against immigration legislation in the Senate last year that would have granted amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.”
My husband is retired civil service and is one of the people that was affected on social security by the windfall which goes away 5% a year plus he is working and can earn whatever he wants. I called SSA yesterday because we had not heard about the raise he gets yearly from the windfall going away and another year of income and found out instead of May, it was pushed off to October when the new fiscal year starts because SSA is running short of money and they have to pay the money from January to October that they have deferred.
I asked the girl why they didn’t have any money and she said we are paying to people that have not paid in that much and I asked to illegals and she refused to answer. Are non-American citizens under a different social security arrangement then citizens because she inferred they had to have less years but wouldn’t answer me direct.
Called my Senators office when I got off the phone so they are checking into it for me.
86% of Democrat Senators voted to end debate and so to pass this Amnesty bill that would allow 20 million illegals to bring to the U.S.A. their family members thus destroying the U.S.. Unions and Democrats have the same positions.
The AP is trying to put the blame on the GOP for this Amnesty.
I am quoting a reliable conservative Michelle Malkin Look at all the unions in that list:
Who is the ÂCoalition for Comprehensive Immigration Reform? An umbrella group for every major pro-open borders outfitÂmany of which receive generous taxpayer subsidies. From a March 2007 press release:A coalition of local immigrant advocates, national policy groups, labor unions, faith-based groups, and ethnic organizations have come together under the umbrella of the Coalition for Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CCIR) to mount an unprecedented nationwide campaign to support passage of workable comprehensive immigration reform legislation in Congress this year.
CIR launched its effort over the weekend in Washington by bringing together field organizers from 29 states to hammer out strategy and refine legislative targets. In addition, the campaigns Strategy Council met to consider legislative strategy and policy priorities. The members of the Strategy Council are:
