It’s sad that a WW II hero became such an anti American twit.

Actually, Alzheimer’s would be a really good way to die. Obviously, for friends and family it’s miserable, but for the person “suffering” with the disease it’s an easy way to go. You don’t have a worry in the world.
Call me cruel and/or demented, but since your nervous system is dulled beyond belief, there’s very little pain for the person suffering with Alzheimer’s.

You’re right. McGovern would be a decent human to have a beer with, but his common sense quotient has always been remarkably low.

I was going to say the same thing. He was a B-24 pilot in WWII and flew many missions over Germany. I have no idea what he is thinking now.

“...painfully concluded...” Yeah, right. McG has always been a moonbat, and now he’s just an old moonbat. We should listen to a guy who ran for president once, because he’s like an expert, or somethin’.

They have been there already. Counted the votes there among the prisoners in the gulag. Said the vote was fair and correct.

What is it with failed liberal candidates? They seem to get bitter after their landslide losses.

McGovern also called the case for impeaching Mr. Bush and Cheney "far stronger" than what was the case against President Nixon and Vice President Spiro T. Agnew after the 1972 election. So that means there were no grounds to impeach President Nixon either then. I really like how he puts Mr. Bush, President Nixon, Vice President Agnew in the same sentence. Loser McGovern.
