Palin would be an obvious pander.
Women are more concerned with national and economic security than seeing someone with similar genitalia on the ticket. Just ask Geraldine Ferraro.
Hillary’s voters won’t be won over with something as obtuse as offering a surrogate female. It won’t work for Obama and it won’t work for McCain. Hillary’s voters are loyal to the candidate because of their 16 year relationship with her, not simply because of her gender.
“what the hell is a conservative democrat??? “
Zell Miller?
but technically you are a republican. I’m sure you don’t favor the monarchy unlike our conservative friends across the pond or governing by popular referendum.
It’s not about the women. It’s the guys. Vote for Palin because she’s hot.
I didn't say it did. But Jeff Davis was pretty darn conservative.
Actually, I was just proud to say I knew who that was....
Yeah, I am da man!
Ha ha
They don't know he's a God-send :)
"Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad." - Euripides bttt
This will offset the 30% of republicans who won’t. he’ll still lose
the media has tried to create this idea that republicans would vote for obama they even created a name for them obamicans but I think the election will be decided by the McRATS
They don't know he's a God-send :)
In 2004, my evangelical 40+-year-old brother and his wife registered and voted for the first time in their lives. They told me the same was true with several of their friends from church. The reason? The prospect of John Kerry becoming President was more than any of them could stomach. I suspect that those sentiments were considerably more widespread across this nation than you will ever read about in the lying Democrat "mainstream" press. That election year, 2004, saw the biggest voter turnout in history, by far.
Turnout could be even bigger this year as long as normal Americans believe that there is any possibility that Barack Hussein Obama could become the next President of the United States. Fortunately (and ironically!), the lying Democrat "mainstream" press is already doing McCain a huge favor in that regard by essentially anointing Obama President. As long as McCain remains healthy and on message, and doesn't do anything more idiotic than he's already done, he will win in a monumental landslide.
“The data shows that 43% of Democrats consider themselves politically liberal, 37% say theyre moderate, and 18% are conservative.”
That’s great, and I hope they vote for McCain. But, I could say that I’m the Pope, that doesn’t make it true.
No real conservative would belong to the party dedicated to the destruction of America’s greatness.
“..75% of Democrats are white. That would give just over 14% of Democrats voting for McCain.”
And giving up a minium of 14% of his base, barack mcgovern can win? I don’t think so.
I would be proud to vote for McCain and a conservative woman as VP. Choosing her would probably we the nail in the coffin for Obama and also a lot of feminine anger at the GOP.
If she’s the pick, McCain should probably announce first. If Obama picks a woman first then I’m worried he won’t get a bounce with democrat women. This way McCain will be view more as a trailblazer and a leader by picking first. Another minority on the ticket won’t help Obama with whites. A woman will definitely help him so this has to be countered decisively.
There are another 5 or 6 votes nationally.
