Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says
CNN ^ | October 25, 2008

CNN) -- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say. Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

A Palin associate, however, said the candidate is simply trying to "bust free" of what she believes was a damaging and mismanaged roll-out.

McCain sources say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls -- recorded messages often used to attack a candidate's opponent -- "irritating" even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she disagreed with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

(McCAin) D00d, she’s a Maverick in action, just not one who toes the Juan McCain shoot-from-the-hipster line of RINO thinking. Just lay back and enjoy it.

“This was started last week with Chuck Todd saying Palin and McCain’s ‘body language’ was tense around each other.”

Chuck Todd’s monitoring for signs that McCain and Palin have inappropriate “body language” around each other so he can smear them for that. Can’t get that story, so he has to make up this one. Fool.

too late....at worst, she’ll easily be elected a Senator from Alaska...she’ll be right there in the mix.

I said they'd try to prevent her from being a big player again. Just as Kathleen Parker and Susan Eisenhower and Peggy Noonan have all made bitchy, disparaging remarks about her lately. Don't think they'd ever succeed in keeping her down now. Too many people love her.

I believe this story absolutely. You have to read between the lines here. McCain was flailing until he picked Palin. The same stupid advisers that had him losing decided on a “strategy” for Palin. Their strategy sucked. She got sick of listening to the losers. She has killer political instincts.

These loser strategists are now complaining that she isn’t listening to their dumb advice. That is in a nutshell what is happening here.

They picked her allegedly because she would be a “breath of fresh air” and be an example of the new generation of Republicans. Now they want to mold her into a female McCain or a what? - Nelson Rockefeller? What a bunch of dumbasses.

Loose with honor? My Gawd what is he doing?

GOOD. I agree with Sarah.

The fact she tells the truth, even if it counters what her campaign has ‘programmed’, is another reason to get her into national office.

"She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else."

These BS shovelers expect us to believe that she doesn't have any bonds of trust with her own family? The Sarah factor must really be scaring the Obama-worshipers (formerly known as our national media).

One more thing. They said they wanted a modern conservative, self assured woman on the ticket. Well, they got one. Give ‘em Hell, Sarah!

Simple question: Which one is drawing the bigger crowds? Palin or McCain?

And the campaign’s been doing SUCH a sterling job up till now, how dare she question their obviously superior strategery!

I wholeheartedly suggest, Mr. McCain aide, that whatever Sarah Palin is doing, you should be aligning yourself with, rather than fighting her. She’s got very good political instincts, and she’s the one drawing HUGE crowds of excited supporters. She’s the one who energized the base, and a lot of others as well. Think about it.

“bigger pair” Yep, just a little higher up.
I imagine she’s prolly thinking something like: “Let’s review here—my guy’s a war hero and I’ve got balls like churchbells. We’re running behind a skinny Marxist with a muslim name, and a vain prig with hairplugs who takes Botox shots. Why aren’t we kicking their cracked a$$es?!”

Unloose the moose!

Hey, look, it's FUD from partisan media shills, with the possible assistance of disgruntled trolls inside McCain's campaign staff. Beats the Hell out of covering Obama's many lies about his history, background, birthplace, religion, hatred of America, hatred of white people...
key aides to Sen. John McCain... say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls -- recorded messages often used to attack a candidate's opponent -- "irritating" even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she disagreed with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised. Especially if there are Bush staffers talking. There was a lot of friction between the Reaganites and the country clubbers during his presidency. The Bob Michel Wing of the Republican party is more than happy to let the Democrats rule as long as they can get table scraps.

Palin connects with Americans, and represents the American spirit which the Democrats and Republican liberals have so assiduously tried to kill since '94.

This is a perfect example of a slur and falsehood about Palin first engineered and fabricated by Politico and then parroted by the MSM. Bets that it will be picked up by NBC, CBS, ABC, and the Times before it is truly refuted by repeated times by Palin. And by that time, the election will be over.

LOL. Translation: Palin is killing the Dems, and the moles in the drive-by media can’t stand it.
