Question: Why Are We Not Impeaching Obama Now?
March 26, 2009 | abigail2

I am just wondering, can anyone tell me why are we not impeaching Obama now, before he does anymore damage?

I am no expert but what is needed to impeach a president. Can anyone here explain what is needed?

Dissent is one thing and effectively reforming Congress is another. I’m already dissenting. I fully believe that a major tax revolt will take place before elections.

ACORN is a factor and we need to work in our various states to push for more accurate voter ID (photo, etc.). My state is working on this now.

Each state must also have a lot more conservatives actively working than previously. Organization should get going ASAP...

If I might add, I believe there will be hope. There is hope. I believe in the statement, “If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.” Without going crazy, invest in yourself. Have adequate food and water to maintain yourself/family. I dunno your feelings about security, but grace has saved so many people it’s unimaginable.

Learn useful skills. Skills people will want, and that will enrich your life. Take up gardening while you still can, or canning or something.

One thing I learned from my readings. In bad situations, there are three kinds of people (in this reference): 1) Pessimists die first (Lose hope); 2) Optimists die second (Hopeless, deny the reality of their situation), 3) Realists survive, if its possible (Those who know it’s bad, focus on something, and exercise faith until the end, spiritual or temporal deliverance, or both).

Like Scubie said, pray and know your friends.

“The Bible gives almost no hint of the existence of America during the chaotic end times narrative.”

Never mind...I’m not going to say a word.................

That is the requirement. First of all, a law is only some words on a paper until an enforcement agency interprets and enforces its interpretation to punish you. Then you are a specifically aggrieved person with specific losses so you have an interest in fully representing the side of the challenger (as opposed to someone who has no, what Obama calls, skin in the game). The case is considered “unripe” if the law hasn’t yet been applied to someone, or “moot” if that person never had or no longer has a direct personal loss to vindicate.

I agree in part. Look at California, the very idea of their Supreme Court ruling an Amendment “Unconstitutional” tells the level of corruption we are facing. I do not believe reform is possible with this type of integrated corruption.

There is a second kind of optimist, who sees the good in any situation even though quite aware that it is crammed with evil. He will outlast the “realist.”

Fornicalia’s “angels” dancing atop a pin point, are attempting to say the amendment shouldn’t have been brought into the constitution in the first place. They’re having rough hoeing, however. Seems even the Fornicalia Supremes don’t like to do that.

???

I hate to break it to you, but only the overwhelmingly scumbag Democrat House of Representatives can impeach the president. You on LSD tonight?

I personally believe it’s due to us not being as significant a player. Our existence as a major player, I have no idea, but I don’t think that that is the problem. I have no idea when endtimes will come, and I’m confident it’s unknown almost everyone, if not everyone (Leaving in the disclaimer that it is possible).

Still, few countries are named by name, and even as such, it’s not entirely relevant to what faces us now. Our existence at the time of Christ’s coming does not necessarily reflect our existence over the next 1,2,5,10, 20 or however many years. We still have lives to live and duties to preform, there’s a lot of good left to do, and pretty hard to do it in a deconstructed society. Some things are worth fighting for.

I know of very little in law, but pretty sure the electoral process would uphold Biden being chosen as vice president. Biden would be more likely to willingly yield to Pelosi than for him to be forced out too.

You are probably right. The Supreme Court does not have the power to remove a President from office. Even if the current court declared that Obama does not meet the constitutional requirements to be President, what then? The Constitution does not say what happens should some not eligible become President.

This might actually work in favor of the Supreme Court making such a ruling since it would not be them removing Obama from office; otherwise, they might be more hesitant to do so. This way they can basically say "Obama does not meet the Constitutional requirements to be President; however, it is not within the court's authority or power to rule on what if any penalty there should be since it is not addressed in the Constitution and we are not a law-making body. Those powers are held by the legislative branch", which then would throw the ball into Congress' court. The only other thing I can think of that might give the court a little more say in his punishment would be something in regards to his swearing in by the Chief Justice. They could say Obama "perpetuated a fraud upon the court" or "committed perjury" since he put his hand on the Bible and SWORE to the Chief Justice to "uphold the Constitution". Ironically, his taking that oath would automatically and immediately disqualify him from serving as President if he is indeed not eligible. How can you "uphold the Constitution" in an unconstitutional manner? It's oxymoronic.

So, if the Court says "Obama is not a naturalized citizen and therefore does not meet the Presidential requirements as stated in the consitution, but his fate is in the hands of the legislative branch", meaning giving the problem to Congress, no doubt impeachment charges would be brought unless Obama resigned. Of course, impeachment procedings could be brought against Biden as well.

At that point, the GOP could probably have both their scalps, but only after a bitter, ugly fight to get who as President? Pelosi??? Pelosi would be better than Biden how? LOL So, I think there would be a compromise between the 2 parties - Obama goes (by resignation or impeachment) and Biden becomes POTUS.

No, no, we’re miscommunicating. By optimist, I mean positivist...as in refusing to accept they can die and whatnot. There are ample studies on the subject. My term for “realist” was in attempt to describe the very thing you are. Someone who knows it’s bad and acknowledges it, but will not accept defeat, despite all tangible evidence to the contrary, but holds on. Think “Hart’s War.”

The GOP would have to win the House and Senate

...and if the above took place there would be no need for impeachment, because the Congress would hopefully do its job, keeping Mr Obama in check, and abiding by the Constitution.

A pipe dream perhaps.

Saw it back when it was new, but I think I liked it. I may have to look at it again.

First, you have to have a group of honorable, freedom loving men and women in the US House of Representatives vote in a majority to 'impeach' him.

The whole plan falls apart right there. We do not have such.
