Breaking-Sen Burr will vote YES on cloture re S. 1776! Call him, 202-224-3154, to vote NO!

Just called Burr's office; Sen. Burr intends to vote YES cloture re S. 1776. The bill's passage will help hide the total cost for Obamacare. Yesterday his office stated that would be voting against cloture. This is a big turnaround. Call Sen. Richard Burr (NC) at 202-224-3154 and tell him to vote NO on cloture.

Again we see the perfidy of the Republican Party, and particularly the dire future of NC.

Oops, Burr voted against cloture. I don’t understand the lineup of senators here. There must be other prefidy in the works. Can Burr survive 2010 considering the Democrat surge in NC?

Remember that Burr is only in his first Senate term.

Yup, Burr will break the curse on this seat in ‘10 and become the first incumbent to win reelection since 1968. Bev Blanco Perdue’s approval ratings are in the toilet, and she, along with Zero, will depress turnout for the NC Dems next year (remember Zero only won there because of Bob Barr’s getting the margin of victory McCain needed). If NC had off-year elections for Governor, she’d lose by 20% to any credible Republican. We’ll pick it up in ‘12 if she stands for reelection (and even if she doesn’t). Palin will win NC in ‘12, too.

Let ObaMao’s minions believe he is still overwhelmingly popular. They think that all that matters is one voting effort for President. They have no clue how American politics works and still think that Dear Leader has effectively taken over and that their financial reward is guaranteed.

In 2010, they will all stay home and watch TV without a clue that there was a similar event in 1994. It will hit them in the ass like an outhouse door.

I'm still of the opinion our best scenario in '10 is to win (with respect to Congress solely) just under the majority. Enough to cripple the radical agenda, but we can't get blamed as the majority party, and have Zero run against us a la Bubba in '96, the rodents will have to own their failures and bellyache as still the majority. Then take a solid majority with President Palin in '12. As for the Governorships and legislatures, winning as many majorities there as possible IS an imperative because of redistricting. My state of TN is gonna flip (if we can't bounce some Dems next year) from a 5D-4R delegation to a 7R-2D one by '12 based on redistricting alone.

What we need to do is win enough seats to stop this steamroller. If we can’t, they will pass legislation that will be nearly impossible to reverse if and when we ever do take it back.

The more time we let slip by, the more chance they have of making their agenda permanent. There truly is a point of no return here, and we are nearly beyond it now.

OK, but so many of them stick around for 4, 5, 6 terms...etc.

Move on and let other serve the nation and prove their worth - vs. having to figure out, how do my senior Senators match up against all the other states and how can my senior Senators get more pork.

Enough.

That is a beautiful vision. Let’s work tirelessly to make it happen.
