Twelve people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base by what officials believe was possibly carried out by an Army officer.

The suspected gunman was identified by ABC News as Major Malik Nadal Hasan.

The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said.

The gunman used two handguns, Cone said. He wasn't sure if the shooter reloaded the weapons during the attack.

the uniform only means they are wearing camouflage. NBC doesnt know a uniform from a hole in the ground.

They also consider every long rifle a sniper rifle. if its black then its an assault weapon.

I was a woman on CNN, Barbara, I forgot her last name, you should have seen the expression on her face. She had to hold back from smiling and talking about the stress from being in the military. She looked like she wanted to jump out of her skin and yell “Yippee”

This smells like a terrorist attack. Using a TEXAS military base as a symbolic attack on Bush.

Just my opinion based on limited information. Would not surprise me, though, as terrorists have attempted to do the same at Fort Dix in New Jersey a couple years ago.

It was a coordinated attack on different parts of the base simultaneously? It sounds like Columbine.

Sure...you can buy them anywhere. What really angers me is that airline pilot uniforms, hats and all... can be purchased on ebay. And, after having worked for the airlines, ID cards are a joke. Can be duplicated or created.
