Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.

We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty.

We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much.

Every once in a while some group of posters get together and try to bend Free Republic to their will. Now, we tend to be pretty free-wheeling around here and will take a lot of guff and a lot of obnoxious insults from a lot of people, but eventually a breaking point is reached.

For example, when a group of RINO lovers recently banded together to try to force FR to accept an abortionist/gay rights RINO as our presidential candidate, they soon found themselves on the outs.

And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.

FR is a pro-God, pro-Creator, pro-Life, pro-Liberty site.

And now we have yet another group of Darwinists trying to have their Darwinist way with us. Well, as I've said before what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger.

Darwin Central has again declared war on FR. They have ping lists and email lists and will try to pull away as many FReepers as they possibly can. So be it. Those who would rather go with Darwin, please go. I sure as hell won't try to stop you.

FR will remain a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-Creator conservative site.

We wholeheartedly believe that our unalienable rights are a gift from God our Creator not from man or government. And no man, no government will ever deprive us of same.

Keep your powder dry.

The horse-donkey-mule phenomenon is an example of speciation in progress. Occasionally a fertile mule does turn up, and it would happen more often if horses and donkeys were intermingling freely in the wild. Sooner or later, there would be multiple mules who could interbreed with each to produce viable, fertile mule offspring, but could not interbreed successfully with horses or donkeys. That’s the point at which you’d have a new species. If you gave some researchers a few million dollars and 20 years or so, they could probably accelerate the process and deliver the new species in that short time frame by careful breeding with genetic analysis of each of the mules they tried to interbreed. In nature, it would take a lot longer, unless a bunch of fertile mules happened to get isolated together somewhere.

How sad that many hear think that Jim's message is one to alienate and divde the community that he has created.

Pro-God, Pro-Creator, Pro-Life and Pro-Liberty do not imply Pro-Censorship. His words were only to those who would warp the fabric of FR to their own means and ends.

Since I have been lurking here (2005), I've never seen someone who presented a thoughtful dissenting opinion be ostracised by the owner or admins of the site. Yes, there are members who will trash them, but even that is not the norm when reasonable, logical discussion proceeds without flaming or a degradtion into childishness.

That being said .. God bless you all.

"Just another instance of further scientific research using facts rather than presumptions leads to unanticipated conclusions ~ oh, yeah, another point they made is that human beings and horses share a tremendous number of the SAME GENES."

This part really doesn't surprise me, and I haven't even seen "Brokeback Mountain".

Virtually all of my cells are highly modified and adapted amoeba ~ I pick bacteria out of my nose and flip it across the room ~ on the other hand, there are several times my own number of cells clinging to my body in a huge varigated bacterial mat.

Without them we can't even grow our intestines correctly.

There is plenty of it from the evos as well. Read through some of the threads and see where they started with their derision before any non-evos even showed up.

Yes, it’s gone both ways, but it’s worse from them, and after a while you get tired of being called a *creatard* and *IDiot*.

I’m curious as to how the creationists would answer the question - were Adam and Eve white or black? If God created white people first, does that mean he loves them most?

We should all have Noah’s DNA in our veins if the Bible is true, right? We could certainly find out - could we handle the answer?

I am not a religious man. I believe in a higher being, not sure what or who it is. But I believe in the concept of this country. I have taken the oath of an office in the Navy, I have taken the oath of a Notary Public; I would never violate either, I don’t need to be religious to believe that my oath is sacred because I took them for my country.

And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.

And still, the FR tent is still big enough for a few crashers.

You, of course, remember Ben Hur where the Arabian horsebreeder is referring to his matched Arabian mares as "my daughters"?

Did you ever wonder why he said that?

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site

And that's a shame. Free Republic should be a mainstream right-wing Christian fundamentalist site that represents a majority in this country. It should be our job to educate and convert those who have been tricked into tolerating socialism and bring them back to their patriotic roots.
