I didn't see a live thread started, so I figured I'd go ahead and post one.
A big primary day. I believe it's 12 states including the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Poizner and Whitman are both LAME. More examples of the leftist media choosing our candidates. This is what’s WRONG with America. We don’t choose the candidates. The LEFT does, through their agents in the news media. Remember Obama vs. McCAIN? McCain was the best we could do? I don’t think so! Thanks, media (/sarcasm).
967 of 2,109 precincts (46%): GOP Gov: Nikki Haley - 47% / Gresham Barrett - 24% / Henry McMaster - 16% / Andre Bauer - 13%
I woted for Whitman. I know you all are going to yell at me, but Poizner has NO chance in this liberal state.
woted= VOTED!
no yelling from me sissyjane! It was a very hard decision for all of us Californian’s! I ended up going for Poisner, but as I told someone today , our choices in California are not the best.....
Traveling to VA (reports from CQ Politics:
No surprises or upsets here.
VA-05 - “State Sen. Robert Hurt is the victor in a crowded Republican primary and will face Rep. Tom Perriello (D) in the fall.”
VA-02 - “Virginia auto dealer Scott Rigell (R) is the winner of a six-candidate primary in in the 2nd district and will face freshman Rep. Glenn Nye (D) in what should be one of the nation’s most competitive House races.”
VA-11 - “Businessman Keith Fimian is the newly minted Republican nominee in northern Virginia’s 11th district, where he will wage a rematch campaign against freshman Rep. Gerald E. Connolly (D).”
I didn’t figure it would. Too much baggage from her husband. I’ve got Joe Wilson in my district so no worries here!
AP called Georgia-9 for Tom Graves at 8:22 EDT
Re: “Too bad Poizner has the IQ of a lemon meringue pie.”

Oh, I doubt Poizner is any dumber than Whitman — who can never make up her mind about much of anything, fawned over Obama’s buddy Van Jones, and never bothered to vote until she was in her late forties.
But is this CA governmental race really your concern? After all, it appears you are in..............Florida!
1,128 of 2,109 precincts (53%): GOP Gov: Nikki Haley - 48% / Gresham Barrett - 23% / Henry McMaster - 17% / Andre Bauer - 12%
I wasn’t aware one had to live in CA to follow the thread.
AR starting to roll in-very early so far:
Lincoln , Blanche (i), 18,471, 53%
Halter , Bill, 16,081, 47%

Nah, I wouldn’t yell at you — we had no good choices, although I did consider voting for the railroad worker guy!
But in November, if it’s Brown v. Whitman, I will vote for Whitman. We’ve already HAD two terms with Moonbeam and I don’t think anyone on our Rep. ballot could do worse than that.
RE: “Is it just those two, or are there others in the governors race?”

No, there were many to choose from; but no one has heard of the others. I thought about voting for the railroad worker but thought better of it. Do we want to try to beat Jerry Brown or not?
I’m in Dist. 2 as well. I loved it when the Dems dumped all that cash into that losers campaign after the State of the Union speech. Like throwing money down a Rat hole. Joe’s not going to lose this seat.
Would Haley be favored in a runoff?
I am guessing Arkansas polls did not close til at least 9 ET since we have seen no results from there yet.

Well of course I KNEW that would be your retort — no, you can live on Mars and follow the CA race but frankly, this is not a Senate position we are talking about — this won’t affect national politics by all that much.
But if you think you are an expert on CA, its problems and candidates, by all means enjoy yourself.
I want Blanche to go down in flames.
I have to admit that I haven’t followed the Arkansas race closely. As a patriotic Conservative, do I want Blanche Lincoln to win or lose?
Shoot, we voted in Arnold. We can vote in any RINO. What’s the diff? RINOs run the state into the ground just as well as any Democrat. When do we say enough is enough?
NO MORE RINOS!!
