Omaha Steaks seen the error of their ways?

Many of us made our disgust known to Omaha Steaks for their clear political agenda driven decision to pull their advertising from Glenn Beck's show.

They initially sent several of us an email defending their decision and NOW they've sent a new email from the president, essentially saying, 'no, no, no'.....that's not what we really meant.

I guess they've really felt the heat from us! Below is the new email...

I don’t care about their reduced revenues, that is a choice they make. I care about how my money is spent. It’s a choice we both make.

Omaha Steaks is the one who decided that their politics was more important than the food they sell, or their employees.

Anyone who stubbornly insists on separating economic and political decisions doesn’t understand that the two are inextricably intertwined.

Sheesh!

Having lived for years in Japan, I’ve had a lot of non-industrially produced/presented everything (almost). Costco meats taste great and are very inexpensive.

I stopped from buying them as I didn't think they were aged. Glad to know it's good. Will try a 4pack. Thanks.

So your criteria in where you shop for your food is to find out where the store manager stands politically"

So your criteria on where you purchase your gasoline was to ask your gas station owner where he stands politically?

So you chose your dentist on where he stands politically?

So you chose your doctor on where he stands politically?

So you chose your vet on where he stands politically?

So you chose your auto dealer on where he stands politically?

So you chose your hardware store on where the owner stands politically?

Holly cow, I'd certainly like to see the political questionaire you had them fill out before you started doing business with them..........

If you can’t find that size already cut and packaged....just ask the Costco butcher if they would cut to your specification next time they are cutting pork loins with the bone in. I use their thick boneless center cut...brine it for juiciness.....

Funny thing. Why would anyone in Omaha donate to an Illinois senatorial primary candidate.
They got caught lying to both groups, the Obama directed commie front group and the American citizens.

It's no surprise that you would insist that I must act in the manner that you describe. It's known as the fallacy of the false dichotomy. The use of logical fallacy is a common tactic used to rationalize inconsistent beliefs.

I learned this from my Father and later from a meat purveyor, restaurateur and great cook.....if meat is steak, it should be at least an inch and a half thick. What ever the cut, loosely wrap and place in the coldest part of your refrigerator. Mine is on top of the meat compartment - I try to remember to turn it ever day or so for about a week or ten days...the meat ‘cures’ a bit from the raw un-hung thing you bought. The taste is better and a bit more tender. Google it up and see what others have done. If it is tenderloin, I cut into to steaks and freeze what is left.

If you really want to send steaks for Christmas, you can’t go wrong with Allen Brothers....look them up...they really are good. Or if your parents have a Costco near them...give them a gift card for Costco meat....always good.

Pat Boone Meats are new on the market and top quality steakage. Plus, they give 5% to worthy charities. Pricey but about the same quality as Allen Bros...SSZ

Sorry, we didn’t go out of our way to find out where OS stood politically. They choose to make their political affiliation public. Once they do that, then I get to make the choice whether to continue to do business with them.

Ping to #14.

Libs lie quite readily, since to them there is no absolute truth.

Time to junk Obama Steaks.
