(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
That's because it was another birther fantasy.
“This document is identical to the photograph of Danae’s original long-form birth certificate.”
Assuming the photograph was taken honorably. I thought he’d actually show the document [oh well]. But maybe an actual photocopy would have the mathematical precision to be proof?
This 2nd COLB says at the bottom is a True Copy or an ABSTRACT of the true record.

Wrong. It shows he’s “native” born. Period. End of story.
ONE THING that i would like to know is WHAT are these pencil marks that are on EACH COLB that has been shown here?? Even the sample from a DIFFERENT hawaiian hospital has the SAME weird pencil marks in the SAME places. A lot of lowercase a’s and the numbers 0, 1, 2 and 9 show up a lot. There must be another form that lies over the colb that makes these marks as it is filled out, or these marks come from the back of a colb that has been filled out and blead onto the front of one laid under it, OR they are marks made by some Hawaiian official that gets the BC’s and converts them to COLB’s... but the Handwriting on these phantom pencil marks all seem the same across different hospitals and years. They seem to line up with fill-in boxes that are not there. weird. those pencil marks are similar across the different COLB examples, but slightly different...

They are CLEARLY different fonts.
Some scanners use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to add a higher contrast to characters that it recognizes as a font. For fonts it doesn’t recognize, it can just scan them individually as pixels. I’m not sure if that’s what’s happened here, but I know having worked and scanned enough documents that letters sitting next to each other can come through looking quite differently.
It’s the same as the 10641 number at the top of the COLB. The final 1 appears quite different than the first 1 even though they all appear on the same line in the same format.

Before it was the British Colony of Kenya, Kenya was known as the East African Protectorate or British East Africa (to differentiate it from German East Africa, which included what later became known as Tanganyika and that later merged with the island of Zanzibar to form Tanzania). It would not surprise me for a woman from Kansas to list her Kenyan husband (who may not have been present when she gave the birth info—his signature is not in the long-form birth certificate) as being from “Kenya, East Africa,” particularly since Obama Sr. was born in some tribal village, not in a city, and writing just plain “Kenya” would look awkward.
This BC is obviously a fake. The signatures of the three wise men are missing.
I wasn’t attacking anybody. I was defending a great Freeper who was himself attacked. But you never addressed the attacker. That’s pretty twisted. If you saw a person get hit in the face, and somebody stepped in to defend them, you’d let the person throwing the punch off the hook, and lecture/hector the other two.
I don’t get it. That thread makes my point that the father of Birtherism is a truther, Mr. Berg. Then the op repeats discredited claims that various people attested to a Kenyan birth. I’m not sure what I need to be caught up on.

Theory - Abercrombie couldn’t find it because he could only find the one that said Soetoro, after the adoption. So technically he could say there was no Obama BC and be telling the truth. Obama can claim this is the one they sealed when the adoptive one was issued. Again, just a theory.
