Hmmm.
According to PSD sufferers, Sarah couldn't possibly run because she hasn't courted Iowa and it's too late.
I take it Rick has been all over Iowa?

(If Sarah Palin really was unelectable, state-run media would be begging the GOP to nominate her.)

All other things being equal, I think there would be a backlash against another Texas governor.

Do it. You may be the only one who can take out the Obamanation.

More day-dreaming from the “Anybody But Palin” crowd.

ROFLOL, you first need to be running to swamp anybody in IOWA.

What, specifically, is Perry’s stance on illegal immigration and the border fence? If he’s even made a few waffly comments about amnesty or a ‘guest-worker program’ he’s out. We don’t need another ‘moderate’ disappointing us on one of the most important issues. If he’s “alligators in the moat” about it, I might give him a listen.

Romney is no centrist. He’s an abortionist, big government statist. See his actual record as governor of Massachusetts.

Another dead-meat GOP candidate to toss on the pile (and I've voted for him every-time he's run for governor).
He's not quite the RINO that some here have made him out to be, but he is not the guy that can get microphone ambushed and survive either.
To explain the conservative truth to the unwashed masses, we've got to find somebody that at least ‘approaches’ Reagan's communication skills.

I’d vote for Perry if Palin doesn’t run. Or if Cain doesn’t get any traction in the primaries.

Rick Perry will not get my vote. He’s just another RINO in disguise. I’ve had my fill of these establishment types.

Texans have good memories. RINORickGoodhair will not carry Texas if he runs.
And many of us with Tea Party connections will not be shy in sharing our reasons for opposing Perry...

For the 'Palin-can't-win' crowd any politician that is somewhat conservative is 'the only one who can beat Obama'. I don't buy it. Obama is very vulnerable. Once you begin to tune out the leftmedia cheer-leading for Obama, including the skewed polls, that becomes obvious. I can't defend or criticize Rick Perry because I simply don't know enough - pro or con - about his positions on the major issues and his record as Texas governor to make a substantive judgement on whether I could support him. However, if Sarah Palin doesn't choose to run, I'd consider Perry. If Sarah does run, all bets are off and the Sarah-bashers on FR will have to start working overtime to undermine her candidacy and keep telling us 'she can't win'. Eventually, they might even start to believe it.

I’d be more comfortable with Perry if he gave obuma the one-finger salute, called out the state guard and stationed them on the border. That might motivate other states to send home guard units to help.
The weiner in the whitehouse needs to be told loud and clear that states are willing to mobilize the military to fight his communist dictates.
