We don't need a higher credit limit or higher taxes. We need to cut the damned government! Cut the spending! Cut the stifling regulations! Cut the taxes!! Cut it NOW!! Not ten years from now, not five years from now, not two years from now, CUT IT NOW!!

Yeah! When they were running in 2010, they ran on defunding ObamaCare. I received letters from Boehner, Cornyn and others asking for contributions so that they could set to work on defunding ObamaCare, - and that would be one of their first priorities. Scott Brown won because he promised to vote against ObamaCare.
So they had one symbolic vote in the House and that was it. No more fight. All those promises - gone with the wind.

And please, oh please, quit whining that “we only have one-half of one-third of government”. If I hear them spout that again, I will not be responsible for my actions.

I’m hearing that after the CBO scoring, the vote on the plan has been delayed until Thursday (at least).
I’ll say this much - at least the House put forth a PLAN that can be objectively scored...and it doesn’t pass muster. Give them a chance to fix it, in other words, pull it and demand the Senate vote on CC&B. Let the CBO score CC&B, let’s see the numbers.
The CBO can’t score a speech and let’s see them score the Reid plan. Let’s see the numbers on the alternatives.
Why can’t every agancy, cabinet office, department, etc. cut 1% from their annual budgets? 1 freaking percent.
Put it on paper and let’s see what it adds up to.

What we are watching with Boehner, Reid & Obama is pure THEATER.
John Boehner for his Acadamy Award Winning POTUS Rebuttal doesn’t mean ANY of those words that spewed out of his piehole. NONE!
He secretly made a deal with Obama, and now we are watching the whole thing unfold before our eyes.
The only real plan that would have actually done anything was “Cut, Cap & Balance” which was tabled (killed) milliseconds after reaching the Socialist-controlled Senate.
Obama & Reid along with their minions in the state-controlled media are talking about how the Boehner plan wouldn’t pass the Senate, nor would the President support it if it reached his desk.
Methinks they doth protest too much.
Boehners plan is HORRIBLE for this country, it gives Obama EXACTLY what he wants, and takes power away from the true fly in his ointment, the Tea-Party Freshman and other members of the House that haven’t sold their soul to the devil.
Why would he agree to give power to a “bi-partisan blue-ribbon panel” from the House & Senate?
A Senate that is overwhelmingly filled with socialists and Super-RINO’s?
Taking power away from HIS OWN CONGRESSIONAL HOUSE, THE SAME HOUSE THAT IS CHARGED WITH PERFORMING THIS EXACT TASK.
WHY?!
We are watching theater, and Boehner is waiting to the last minute so he, The White House and the Media can work the House Freshman into voting for this.
And mark my words right here and now, if this Boehner Plan passes the House, it will fly through the Senate and Obama will sign it.

the only thing he might not have known was that the CBO would score it a little under 1 trillion.
He knew that the cuts would take place over 10 years and SURELY he knew that was not enforceable.
He also knew the figures for 2012.
However, feel free to wait before you form an opinion.
In the meantime, his tweet that he is backing the plan from yesterday is not deleted and he has not come out and said he changed his mind.
