“Agreed and well stated. It is time to move on and fight Romney and get a real conservative (who is running) the nomination.”

At this point it’s more about uniting conservatives than fighting Romney. All Romney has to do to win is step back and watch as all the other conservatives attack each other.

The bottom line for the Election process is that a LOT OF US have been sitting on the sidelines, waiting for Sarah to decide.

Now we have to decide who we support, and where our money is going to go.

If conservative voters had the patience of Democrats/Socialists/Marxists, we'd be riding them out of the country on a rail right about now.

The problem is, so many of us give up when we don't get what we want.

What good is it doing the country for her to sit up in Alaska as a spectator ? on the side lines ?

If she really cared about the country she wouldn’t be backing down from helping us try to save it. The country does need her leadership.

She is going to be a damned fine Energy Sec in the next Administration, then VP in 2016, then....

Remember, she’s still young. Don’t give up on her, yet.

Would you stop posting like a concern troll?

Why does the country "need her leadership" if she doesn't "care about the country"...?

Knock off the effing stupidity!

Yet you have said on this thread that you think this isn’t legit, that she is faking this to throw of the MSM, then later that Cain could be president but be accountable to Sarah and thus the REAL president. Many of her supporter on here have said they felt betrayed. Now you are downplaying that and your statement that very clearly appear to think she is lying to everyone and still plans on running. Do you want me to repost your comments to refresh your memory?

BTW, I’m not supporting one of the RINOs, so I have nothing to gain from this. However, I am glad that the ‘will she/won’t she’ game is over - that got rather tedious.

Don’t worry your pretty little head about it, the grown ups are ready to get to work electing a conservative who is actually running.

“The country does need her leadership.”

If she was the leader that you thought she was, she’d be in this race. It’s not her calling in life.

There are some posters I wish to forget..It will take time..I scroll past..I don’t do flame wars.

Just remember how the worst personal attackers make their candidate less appealing. It’s a natural reaction..but one I fought personally. Represent your candidate well!

One poster I had enjoyed reading in past years denigrated my state and the intelligence of the people residing there..

The condescending attitude was eye opening. It did not warm my heart toward their candidate.

I mostly read on the politics threads anyway..but I read a lot.

May God guide us to choose our words and our candidates wisely.
We all want Obama out.

I am not a concern troll. I am simply wondering where her heart is right now. And if she even knows (like you and I do) that our country is in really bad shape.

I just don’t get it. give me time, maybe I will. but I don’t right now. its frustrating.

I thought she cared about the country and I thought we needed her leadership. that is the correct wording

Might I infer something from your screen name — as you might infer something from my tag line. LUV W. rwr and gwb backer.

You and I are both RINOs, remember. Jorje Bush. El Presidente. I know George W. Bush made mistakes about too much spending and being too soft on immigration.

Yet it seems keeping the country safe for nearly 8 years after 9-11 meant nothing to the purists.

“I hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.”

History will give that steely resolve more weight, ultimately, than the GWB mistakes — which admittedly weren’t trivial.

Yet the arrogance of purism has been going on for a while. It culminated with the venom of the Palin acolytes against anybody who had the temerity to keep an open mind about whom to support — or even worse — who supported somebody not named Palin.

OK, so Palin isn’t running. So be it. I would have voted for her in the general — enthusiastically. I’d vote for any current GOP candidate in the general, other than Huntsman or Paul. Not sure about Gov. Johnson — don’t know enough yet.

Any of the others — they are light years better than President Obama. They have my support vs. any Democrat.

It’s time for all of us to grow up and grow a pair. The stakes are too high. I want an ultra-conservative in there as well. But if I have to settle, I have to settle. I’m tired of settling. But the worst president of all time MUST be voted out and confined to one term.

The 3rd-greatest American president ever once said:

“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”

Lexington. Concord. Valley Forge. Yorktown. Antietam. Gettysburg. Ford’s Theater. Belleau Wood. Pearl Harbor. Midway. Guadalcanal. Omaha Beach. Bastonge. Inchon. Khe Sanh. Manhattan. Shanksville.

The U.S.S. Arizona still holds her heroes in a silent grave. The U.S.S. Yorktown slumbers to this day at the bottom of the Pacific. White crosses outnumber the living residents of Colleville-sur-Mer. The World Trade Center exists only in memory and images.

Too many patriots have died for us to be so childish and petty that we lose sight of the peril that faces our Republic.

Will we waste our “brief moment”? Or will we stand up for our “shining city on a hill”?

-George

>>Good lost today. Evil won.<<

I think you meant “Dumb lost today. Smart won.”

Gov. Palin will help advance the Conservative cause much more effectively as a pundit than as a candidate.

Evil can only win when men and women of character do nothing. So long as we work to advance the cause of justice, values and freedom, evil will remain relegated to its cell in the back corner of the tower.

And those who purported to be Conservatives but are exposed to simply be personality cult are now naked in the corner. My advice to them is to come clean, confess their sins and rejoin us who care about what we believe in. Or leave and not darken our doorstep again.

I do not care what the plan is. If he goes for a new broad sales/VAT tax without making the income tax unconstitutional, he will be moving the US towards the European model as much as Obama has.

You can not leave these people an opening. If they get their sales tax first, they will fight any income tax amendment tooth and nail.

“And those who purported to be Conservatives but are exposed to simply be personality cult are now naked in the corner. “

No more cults also means no Cain cults or Perry cults, either. We will see who really has what it takes and not pick someone as the savior of the world just because the other botched one debate.

Thats not going to change much in our country.

Don’t feel me that bull of mush. She was in a position to win the Presidency and she let a LOT of people down.

Would you stop calling me a troll. I have been on FR since 2006 and was a Palin supporter since 2008.

I have personal friends here. WVNAN is one of them.
