Why, because an unelectable person who never was going to run in the first place announced she isn’t running?

She quit on Alaskans, and now she quit on her 2012 supporters in order to maximize her earnings as a TV star and spread the conservative message that way.

There is no conspiracy. She’s about one thing more than anything ... herself and her family. I just wish she hadn’t had led many of you on for so long, because there are divisions now on FR that weren’t there prior to this summer. Also, where is the SarahPAC money going to go?

Time to get on the Cain Train!

With Palin out of the running, Cain is the best of the candidates. If he gets the contributions (I'm hoping to do my part soon), he can make it...he can win. The contrast between Cain (upbeat, private-sector experienced, natural) and Obama (negative, bombing in his first real job, always scripted) will be readily apparent to all Americans except the nuts on DU and that ilk.

Romney is getting the nomination. I am beyond pissed.

Possible, but not necessarily. By all accounts he should be where George W Bush is back in 1999 based on his organization and money. A lot of people just don't trust Romney, including me. Romney was also the establishment choice in 2008 and could not beat a dead in the water John McCain. That says something about his electability, and not what the pundits think. Revisionist history has McCain as the establishment choice. It wasn't. It was mostly Romney, followed by Giuliani.

There's a large enough anti-Romney vote to deny him the nomination. Whether it is Perry, Bachmann, Cain, Huntsman, or someone else remains to be seen. It depends on their organization and ability to get the votes of the undecideds.

I think Palin made a smart decision for two reasons. One, she didn't create an anti-Palin candidate. That would have been Romney. Palin, like Romney, has enough people who view her negatively enough to vote against them to stop the other candidate. Two, her endorsement power. Palin has a big enough following to get a lot of supporters to support someone based on her word. It's like an NRA endorsement.

So far I have yet to hear any Palin supporter saying they are now going for anybody but Cain (including myself).

Mitt is toast and next is Obama.

Are there any Palin fans who are now switching to Perry?
;)

Well, I am very disappointed with her decision, but it is her life to do with as she sees fit. So now post Palin, it is time for me to move on.

One bright side I guess, that $1,000.00 Wife and I had set aside for Palin, can now go back into savings, for it will certainly not be going to any other candidate now running.

Levin just said she made it clear that she will remain engaged and very vocal.

I hope Palin can help us defeat Romney in the primary and coalesce around Cain.

She can do a lot more good from the sidelines. Herman Cain now has my support. And I love Palin but if she endorses Romney I’m not voting for him.

She didnt deserve all of the hell she has gotten..from BOTH sides..both sides have treated her like crap and for what, after all, what horrible thing has she ever done..nothing..she is a beautiful human being who only has wanted to help people and this is how she gets treated. I dont blame her at all for not wanting to run, she has had enough of this crap and she will probably endorse Cain who I am happy with. Maybe if some on the GOP want to know why she chose not to run they should look in the mirror..there is only so much a human being can take

Doesnt she have any guts at all ? She just freaking rolled over and conceded

Thirty minutes ago, if I had posted on FR to the effect that Palin was seen as a "quitter", you know what kind of flamage I'd have been hit with, right????

Why are you so down on Cain? He is a very smart man and he is a conservative. What else do you want?

I had no problem with Palin jumping in the race, but I too concur that some of her most die-hard supporters have viciously attacked others on here and against any candidate they saw standing in her way, including other conservatives in the race.

Some of them are saying the sky is falling and all hope is lost. Others are trying to explain it into some kind of “brilliant move” that furthers her overall objectives.

At this point, I’m glad she’s made a decision. I don’t have a problem with Cain, and I still like Bachmann.

IT'S OVER

Wake up and let go of these silly Palin dreamland scenarios. She is just another media member at this point. She will not be a VP choice, just as she won't be President.

If this is how she is, I wouldnt hire her to run an ice cream shop. She is a person with little purpose nationally now and I can believe she just folded like a coward.””

It appears you are trying to get a response from your immature postings.
