Who the hell said I wanted Romney?

Jeez some of you people really should read the whole thread before commenting.

The fact is, there is a possibility he gets nominated, even with our opposition. If that were to happen I will gladly accept Romney over the big 0.

I wouldn’t use the term “attack dogs,” but yes, I think they’re keeping their options open, and they expect Romney to win. I do too. :(

But I think Bachman makes a great point. THIS year of all years, we don’t need to settle. Any decent candidate will beat him.

Its really that easy.

It would be a tragedy of shakespearean proportions if we shot each other before the election.

Yes, people get out of line on political threads especially during primary season. The stuff of Palin supporters was in a league of its own. It became a cult of personality where any mention of not liking something about Gov. Palin was grounds for treating a fellow FReeper like human waste. I have never, ever seen anything like it from the supporters of any other candidate. They made the heated discussions that happen on the Religion Forum look like a walk in the park.

Yeah...I am really getting tired of Freepers preaching to me how if I don’t support Romney...Blah Blah Blah we will end up with 0bama for 4 more years!

Do these people have short term memories??????? After all of the McCain/Graham/Romney etc B.S. that we have had to endure over the last couple of decades....I am done!!!!!!!!!!

RomneyCare!!!!!!!!!!! Kiss my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s not a protest, for me. I would just give up. RINOs are no better than Obama, maybe even worse. We need a total shake up for there to be any hope. It’s so far gone now.

Yes, it was. The attacks on anyone who wouldn’t ‘get with the program’ were vile and completely uncalled for. Hopefully, now that will change somewhat and they will become human beings again.

I am not giving up at all on Perry. It is way too early despite what the polls are saying. The first vote in the primaries would be cast over three months from now. Remember that everyone announced the death of the McCain campaign in the fall of 2007 and all the way until few days before the first vote was cast in Iowa. Then McCain came back strong and won it all.

I wholeheartedly disagree that Cain can’t win either the nomination or the generals and those that think otherwise are, quite frankly, delusional. Cain is running at full steam in the primaries...beating Romney in most states and crushing Perry. He just had a poll that had him up on likely primary voters by 2 over Romney. Perry is toast. Cain has momentum and he is getting more money. He will defeat Obama easily IMHO for a multitude of reasons. Before we jump off the cliff, folks, relax...WE WILL BEAT OBAMA with a CAIN but ONLY if Conservatives mobilize for him.

I understand your sentiments, but its no longer a lesser of two evils situation.

Think of the election this way - your house is infested with vermin scum, and you have an opportunity to fumigate your house.

Its not necessary to like the exterminator.

We've GOT to get the POS out of the White House.
