With Sarah out, which conservative candidate has the best shot of knocking out Romney and Obama?
vanity poll | Oct 5, 2011 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 10/05/2011 5:06:47 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

My personal favorites are:

1) Bachmann

2) Cain

3) perry

Cannot get excited about Gingrich or Santorum.

I think Bachmann was very close to a lot of freepers ideologically. It’s sad her campaign has fallen so low.

On the other hand maybe it’s a good thing because conservatives are less likely to split their vote to let a rino in...

It’s so sad what happened to Gingrich. He was one of the greatest conservative minds, and now people feel like they can’t trust him at all because of his global warming betrayal. Can you trust this man to nominate a conservative justice now? Very sad about this because I had liked him so much before.

I can’t tell the difference between Ron Paul’s foreign policy pronouncements vs propaganda from Iran. I can’t even consider someone who so quickly and easily spouts anti-american propaganda.

I like Cain, I am fretful about his lack of government experience. It doesn’t rule him out at all though. He seems to be leader of the pack for conservatives at the moment, I certainly would vote for him.

As heretical as some of Perry’s positions are, I think I could hold my nose and vote for him if he won the primary. I would much rather a more conservative person got in like Cain though.

I son’t think this is the end. I think there might be a couple of people who feel as we do that no one currently running is up to the task. I am not giving up yet.

We know that the minute Palin wins, the economy will rebound due to confidence that we once again have a Pro-American President governing our nation. Palin exudes being for America much like Reagan... unlike the current poser who rarely works and is incompetent.

Everyone NOW knows, zero is incompetent. Even his so called supporters know he is beyond incompetent which is why zero is ridiculed to his face on a international level. So even if liberals aren't happy in the short run with a Palin Presidency, they will be happy in early 2012 because the economy will have turned around in the positive once she is elected. People trust her and know she has our nation's best interest at heart. Our economy will boom the minute she is elected.

Haters will be stifled because in general they will be better off financially with Palin as President. FACT Haters will be stifled with a Palin Presidency because they will have more food on the table and more disposable income. And by then, all of Zero's whistle blowers will have provided evidence to his corruptness, that they won't be interested in defending him as there will be too much documented evidence of his corruption that they won't want to bring his name up.

I would expect the Supreme Court today, given its current make-up, would likely rule that a child born within the United States to parents who are both legal permanent residents domiciled within the United States is a “natural born citizen.”

Whether the Supreme Court 200 years ago would have ruled that way is another question.

Gotta admit my support for Palin has waned since Cain entered the picture. I’d love to see him and West together, why not, its the Party of Lincoln. I guess asking for that would be considered RACIST by the Libs.. I see them both as achievers, I like what I hear from both of them. I believe they will rip Obama and Biden to pieces in any debate without the help of a teleprompter. As for Sarah, I see a good Cabinet position being offered if Cain wins. Anyone else, forget it, it will be the continuation of the same ole DC crap. I believe we are going to see Cain Stock begin to rise.

Of those 3, Perry is the only one who has political executive experience.

One of the big problems with Obama is his lack of political executive experience.

Being a CEO of a corporation is not the same as being the Chief Executive of the United States of America.

We are going to need strong leadership to clean up the Obama mess. I don't see Bachmann or Cain as having that.

Romney is a slickster and country club Republican — who have been much of the problem.

Gringrich — too much old baggage. The MSM/Dems would love to campaign against that.

Santorum — too little experience and what has he been doing since his lost his Senate seat?

I see Perry as the ‘go to’ guy. That doesn't make him the most ideal, but based on political experience, I do see him as the most electable against Obama.
