Gov Rick Perry Supporter and pollster for a SuperPAC that supports Perry is the Herman Cain source
Fox News Insider ^ | 11/2/11 | Greta Susteren

Posted on 11/02/2011 6:14:32 PM PDT by justsaynomore

I don't know if there is more than one source or not, but, according to Politico, Chris Wilson, a Governor Perry supporter and pollster for the super PAC that supports Governor Perry, worked at the National Restaurant Association and is the (a?) source for the Cain/sexual harassment story.

He said the episode of harassment occurred in a public restaurant in the 1990's and that many people knew about it. What is WEIRD about the Politico story and Chris Wilson, is that Chris Wilson would not or did not say what happened. The only reason that omission catches my attention is that sexual harassment is a rather “fluid” concept. Some actions are OBVIOUSLY sexual harassment and some are NOT – and are merely actions misinterpreted or exaggerated.

Hence I would like to know what it is that people (Chris Wilson) say Mr. Cain did. Of course because Wilson is also a Governor Perry guy, his remarks (accusation) should be looked at with a discerning eye – and it is all the more important that he provide more information about what he claims Mr. Cain did.

My guess is, if this were happening to Perry you’d be outraged.

What escapes the Perry and Romney supporters is that, should either win the nomination, they will be pummeled by the same type of anonymous accusations, and they will have helped create the precedent for it. Nameless, faceless accusers who will speak only through their lawyers? Give me a break. Perry/Romney refuse to condemn this outrage now, and it will come back to bite them in the ass later.

“Less than that, but don’t be deceived into thinking that Cain will pull in the black vote.
They hate him.

I love him 1000% more than the black populous.”
___________________________________________________

Unlike you, I don’t look at Cain’s color, or what his color might do for him or the party. I look at his conservatism. I could give a rats arse how much of the Black vote he gets. My first concern is that he’s conservative, because that’s good for everyone.

We’re all glad to know that you love Cain 1000% more than the Black populous. Funny how this love has you siding with a left-wing hack news sight called Politico.

Oh that’s so manly of you to try and start another scurrilous rumor! With supporters like you, Rick Perry doesn’t need help from the DNC to end his run for the nomination. Who would want to share supporting ID with someone doing old bitty rumor mongering? How evry shameful of you, dude.

Ah, playing the left wing race card game now. Shame on you. Nominate him and see him lose on a massive scale. You Cain cult are 30% of the Republican base and that is no more than 10% of the general electorate. In order for your Cain to win he needs additional 40% from the general electorate. It is Christine O’Donnell on a national level, win the primaries by the support of the lunatics and lose the general elections very badly.

Classic backfire. Big thing is, if it can be proven that this fellow is the one that did it, [and it might still be speculative, we don't want to bear false witness here ourselves,] then the question has to be, did Gov. Perry know of this outreach to Politico in advance or in any other way countenance it or approve such a Liberal smear of Herman Cain just prior to his week in Washington, D.C.? If so, big trouble.

I think in the next debate, if more facts are in that support this angle, then Herman Cain should depart briefly from his own main message and narrative, and directly eye Governor Perry and ask him to (as Herman Cain would say) "own up to it" and offer a heartfelt apology for this kind of nasty politics of destruction and violation of the Ronald Reagan Maxim. That would be only if the evidence is airtight by that time. We cannot allow this kind of behavior within the ranks of the GOP, as it only does a service to that sap in the White House we are all trying to unseat and thus save our Republic in the process. Why turn on each other like this Politico fiasco. Sheesh. Beyond me. Must just be a naked thirst for power.

We need animated talk, but FAIR talk on this forum.

I agree.

I've decided to start holding some of the Tiny Hyenas accountable for their hyperbolic smears and accusations.

I've already challenged two of them to back up false accusations tonight and the response is

{crickets chirping}

He said That the states have their balls in a vice by the FEDS

That is sooooo tired. Perry is just blaming others instead of looking in the mirror. If that were the case than Arizona and Alabama would be in the same position and guess what? There governors are TRUE conservative because they passed a real illegal alien reform. Perry is an appeaser. You should be ashamed of yourself from embarrassment for sticking up for a liberal especially when I gave you two states that went around the feds.

“I think hate crimes bills are BS in general.
I think the 10 commandments covered all of the laws we require.”

Don’t answer me that way, pal. I had said that PERRY signed the (gay-friendly) Texas Hate Crime Bill.

Rather than defending Perry, you seem to have a problem with what he did. Watch out, or I’ll tell Cincinnati on you, and she’ll whip you into shape.

We CANNOT allow Perry supporters to leave the reservation...because that makes them start to look like legitimate FReepers, rather than campaign staff (and it makes it tougher for me to label them).

So, I’ll give you a chance to take back what you said.

Begin with: “I support Perry signing the Hate Crime bill because...”

And now we read innuendo aimed at sullying Rick Perry for something a rogue could have easily done. And if you doubt it, look at the spittlefool who started this thread with his scurrilous crap! He claims to be an ardent Perry supporter. ... And no one querstions that when he is making so much filth that it is splashing on Rick? Pleae, fellow freeprs, take a deep breath and stop helping these fools herd minds.

“I am basing that on my personal interaction with many people.”

Considering that blacks still know next to nothing about Cain at this point, I think you’re being pre-mature. I have no doubt he will take his campaign to places that no white Republican will get near, and he will hit on issues that blacks can identify with (starting with education). Sure, he may not get 50%, but if he gets 20 or 30% it’s lights out.

No. I am a self made man.

I never got nice things like college, I had to make a living, and I learned a lot along the way.

I learned a lot more than some eggheads like Obama.

Meanwhile, the current Governor of Texas actually goes out of his way to tell the truth. He doesn’t throw a hissy fit when asked difficult questions.

People who drink tend to tell the truth. Do we really need a drunk in the White House with access to the suitcase? I don’t!!!

To 224 - They did the same thing with anyone who critiqued Palin, that is, call for their banishment. And these are ‘conservative adults’? Oh, be careful or they’ll label you a “Perrywinkle”. Yet another feather in their collective cap - coining such a clever and mature term.
