More training for ovomit's domestic terrorist force.
Wonder if this is related to the "unexpected" high number of murders in Chi-town that are all the fault of previous Mayor Daley?
Then again, maybe they were prepping for the filming of "Blackhawk Down II."

Why not hold the summit in a small town where it is easier to secure an area. Like maybe Plattville or Helmar?

Hopefully this is not April 29th through May 2nd. My wife is making me go to some literacy conference with her in downtown Chicago. She will be in meetings all day and me around the hotel. Too bad the Cubs are in Cincinnati then.

There is a
government site that displays all Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) by location and date. That is a good way to see why your locale is suddenly experiencing a heavy increase in government aircraft and vehicles. TFRs are warnings to civil pilots to stay away from locations where top government officials will be visiting. It is worth noting that TFRs have doubled or tripled since Obama has occupied the White House.

Given the fact that Lynn Sweet is a WH tool, why was this released?

Secret Service has shopping list for terror-proofing NATO summit
LYNN SWEET
Updated: April 17, 2012 5:58AM
WASHINGTON The Secret Service has an extensive shopping list to fortify the Chicago NATO summit, from barriers to withstand a vehicle going 50 mph to 8-foot-high fences that cant be climbed.
The specifics are contained in a bid request from the Secret Service, a document called sensitive but unclassified. The proposals for equipment rental and project management are due April 24 for the May 20-21 summit.

The people who ride trains that pass under McCormick Place will really enjoy it when they find out the trains will be halted. And the people who will be using O’Hare will really enjoy it when they find out that they will be delayed by the fleets of aircraft of the attendees.
But look for the slimy Rat bottom feeders who run Chicago, Illinois and the nation in front of the cameras at every opportunity to get face time with their brain-dead voters.

Calling it routine training, city officials said in a statement such exercises are conducted by military personnel in various cities around the country. They say the exercises are designed to improve the military's ability to operate in urban environments.I thought they did routine training on base.

I may have missed some but I accounted for 53 shootings and 9 killings in a 2 week period. Since the majority of them occured on Friday night thru Sunday mornings, I think the safest days to travel thru there are Monday morning thru Thursday afternoon.....

Who are they trying to intimidate? Citizens? Anarchists won't give a flip... Anyone think our military would take out demonstrators using Blackhawks? Gimme a break.
Standard police helicopters could 'follow' a fleeing perp just as easily.
It's intimidation. Grandstanding. Something a lowlife like Louis Farrakhan would dream up.

Well, lessee, we can fly Air Force One low over the city.
Nahhh, that’s been done already.
Let’s use the black helicopters.
