Zogby: Obama outperforming Romney among “upscale voters”
Hotair ^ | 07/21/2012 | BY ROB BLUEY

Voters with college degrees and international travelers are breaking for President Obama over Mitt Romney in the presidential race, according to a polling analysis from John Zogby. Romney, meanwhile, comes out ahead among top earners and the middle class.

The trend should be worrisome for Obama, Zogby wrote:

The picture that emerges from these select numbers is one of dissatisfaction among voters with the highest income, but an incumbent who might be able to cut his losses among more upscale voters by appealing to those with college degrees and those who have a more international perspective. At the same time, the president is waging an all-out war against Romney to win over middle income voters who, at the moment, are really enamored with Obama. An incumbent presently winning only 36% of voters in the $50,000 to $75,000 income range spells potential trouble for him.

Here’s how the numbers break down from Zogby's analysis of a total sample 5,300 likely voters:

Hot Air also covered Zogby’s previous analysis, which examined the “marriage gap” — the sharp political divide between married and single voters.

That's because they think they won't be among the 6.5 billion peasants UN Agenda 21 wants to "disappear."

Have they got a surprise coming.

Well educated does not necessarily mean wise.

"Upscale"?

Does this mean that their snobbish vote is worth more than mine?

One of the reasons our collages are progressively more and more expensive while turning out a poorer and poorer product is that they are moving from education in practical skills to political indoctrination.

If collages were made to issue & back their own loans to be repaid over the next 20 years you might see that too change very quickly.

To paraphrase the well-known saw: There are lies, d*mned lies, and polls.

Only one “poll” matters, and that’s held in November; the rest is BS.

Methinks the HotAir regular editor is on vacation and they let a part time Jr. High School student do the editing for this article.

The college crowd thinks Obama is going to flush their student loans; that’s why they want him.

It sounds like "the rich" are breaking for Barry. Whodda thunk he'd ever get the 1% voting block.

I have a college degree and do a certain amount of international traveling and I wouldn't vote for Osama Obama if he was running unopposed.

That's because they have spent more time in the hallowed halls of academia and thus have been more brainwashed/indoctrinated by mostly, far left, Moonbat, Profs...many of which are products of the 60's/70's and in turn, taught today's liberal educators.

As someone who has an MBA, I speak from experience, though I got my undergrad degree in 1980 and it was a tough slog even then, trying to balance my speaking out and even arguing with so many of those glittering jewels of ignorance and educated idiots who knew 0 about the real world and getting decent grades.

I am a Zogby member and am also college educated (I even teach at a university) and often lecture and work overseas... I know I’m in Zogby’s database as a conservative, since they keep track of my responses.

Needless to say, I was NOT selected for this particular poll!

Another crap poll by Zogby. He polls people who have traveled internationally? As if that is a formidable and identifiable voting block?? Zogby might as well poll people ho have chronic athlete’s foot.

He breaks down college educated voters from the middle class?? The middle class is essentially college educated! They either graduated or attended college.

Hence, this poll by Zogby is meaningless.

Among the important group of voters making between $50,000 and $75,000 per year, Romney holds a 6-point edge, 42 percent to 36 percent. This income group makes up 21 percent of likely voters. And, according to Zogby, “it is the group that normally provides the winner in presidential elections going back to 1972.”

Even Zogby thinks Obama will lose. It must look really bad for the Kenyan.

All these numbers are actually very bad for Obama as he never hits 50%. and the undecideds historically break for the challenger. This election is not about Romney, it is about the very scary Obama.
