Glenn Beck: Sean Hannity-Mark Levin feud resolved

Radio and TV personality Glenn Beck says he has buried the hatchet with fellow conservative talk radio powerhouses Sean Hannity and Mark Levin and that they are coming together to activate their “Wonder Twin powers.”

Beck spoke about his relationship with the two rival radio show hosts on his show Thursday, saying that they have discovered they were being fed “lies” about each other to diminish their power.

“There is a stupid feud, and the three of us, Sean and Mark and I, have talked about it and we know where it came from and we know who was feeding us lies about each other,” Beck said Thursday. “And this individual just expected that we would, that if they fed us enough lies about each other, we would never talk to each other, and that way he would be able to divide us and keep the tea party movement at bay and control it as much as he could or destroy it. And we were foolish, and all of us have said to each other … ‘Man, how stupid were we? How did we not see that one?’”

Beck did not name the person he accused of spreading lies. Beck said after continuous messages from his audience that he should be on the same side as Levin and Hannity rather than in competition with them, the three connected and realized they should work together.

“If talk radio begins to move together and we all understand … everybody plays a different role and each of us have an important piece,” Beck said, reading a note he wrote to Levin saying Levin’s role was to affect politics while his role was to affect culture. He said Hannity was an ideas man.

As they work with each other, Beck warned their detractors to “look out.”

“Together — I mean, I hate to go to a Saturday morning cartoon but ‘Wonder Twin powers activate.’ And when we do, look out. Look out, progressives, and look out, the GOP,” Beck said.

Beck also said the three all need the “king of the universe” Rush Limbaugh and asked his audience to pray that Limbaugh decides he should engage the three of them, as well.

Who was feeding them lies? Any guesses?

How about Michael Savage joining them? What is he? Chopped liver?

Hannity’s good buddy Karl Rove would be my guess.

I have heard Rush mention Levin on his program a few times, and I’ve also heard him mention stories on The Blaze website.

I don’t see why these guys need to “work together”. I like their individual approaches (Hannity not so much), and I think they all offer something different.

Not Savage, none of them ever would listen to him, none of them ever viewed him as a friend.

Savage HATES Hannity and it bubbles out of every other sentence. He also hates Rush, O’reilly, etc.

I’m with Savage on the “borders, language, culture,” deal, but he feels that he has to make himself bigger by insulting and slamming the other talkers.

It just makes him smaller to me, and almost unlistenable.
Between Hannity and Savage, now in the same time slot (here in NE Florida at least) there is not much to choose.

IMHO, there are a dozen “2nd tier” hosts that are better than the vainglorious Savage and the vapid Hannity.

Listened to Savage for a week after Hannity moved to WOR.

After the recent Florida movie shooting, he stated “guns shouldn’t be allowed in movie theaters”

Eff him.

Haven’t listened since.

Don’t hold your breath on Savage joining them. He hates everybody except for his little dog Teddy.

O’Reilly in my opinion. He hates hannity and Levin. And sort of took beck under his wing at fox. Now he never has beck on (and seemed to have parted ways) and suddenly beck is teaming up with hannity.

Rove would certainly be in my “top five” list. Hannity and Rove are both “establishment Republicans”, regardless of what Hannity says. I’m glad he was dropped from my local “drive home” radio slot, but a diet of Mr. Savage can get old pretty quick as well. I most enjoy the shows where Savage talks about what he learned from his varied past experiences, making the listener think a bit, rather than yelling at me. I get enough yelling from from the Left.

So Beck wasn’t for Romney or same sex marriage?

Were those lies?

It may be just me, but I can’t stand Savage.

And what’s with the juvenile name calling?

Seems he has some petty little name for all the other talk-show, fox news guys.

Hannity stopped calling Levin ‘The Great one’ ?

Levin used to tell his listeners that it was Hannity who helped him get a national radio show.

I notice Rush and Hannity left WABC NYC 770 and left Levin behind. Seems like the three were on that station forever, and I can get it here in Maryland on clear days and nights.

I didn’t either. I don’t listen to Beck anymore or Hannity, either. Levin? I’m never around a radio when he’s on.

Levin is constantly running down other talkshow hosts, who he never names and except for his bashing of Savage I usually don’t know who he is talking about. He calls them back-benchers, gets a little old after a while, he must spend a lot of time listening to his competitors.
