I'll be honest. I prefer that the republicans win the senate in November.

I'll even bite my tongue and support McConnell to win in Kentucky.

But, McConnell is damaged goods who needs out of the Senate leadership.

Sen. Jeff Sessions is an experienced, intelligent voice on everything from anti-amnesty to budget to Senate strategy.

Sessions would be a decided improvement. McConnell, however, won’t step aside. Even if he loses, the establishment will push the useless whip John Cornyn for the top job.

The way that the Republicans win the senate in November is campaigning as Republicans, and doing so with a clear agenda. Yes, all elections are local, but there are hundreds if not thousands of things to hit the Democrats on as a unified front.

So if Sessions wants to be majority leader, or if anyone wants to be majority leader, how about assuming the position right this instant and all the way through to November, pushing against this administration, the massive overreach by federal departments, and actually fight these Democrats!

I don’t know Senate rules, but it seems that it couldn’t be an inherited position. There has to be some kind of election.

Sessions should run and conservatives should rise up to support him

I could see Chris McDaniel voting for Sessions here in Mississippi. But now McConnell has his rubber stamp.

You’ve got the wrong Sessions, TN. You’ve made this mistake before.

Jeff Sessions is the single biggest voice fighting amnesty in all of the US government.

Those fighting this government have been Sessions, Cruz, Lee, and...sometimes...Rubio and Paul depending on the subject.

Jeff Sessions wants AMNESTY

Not sure where you're getting that info. Jeff Sessions is one of amnesty's strongest opponents.

McConnell is a traitor. He is now in danger of losing his election this fall.

If you ask John Cornyn, he’ll tell you it’s his turn! If Cornyn has top job, amnesty will be approved. He doesn’t care about the citizens in Texas, let alone in the rest of the United States.

Our family quit supporting him during the last election.

Texas congressman Pete Sessions is pro-amnesty. Nana keeps making this mistake. I’d encourage her to have her post removed. Jeff Sessions is her leading voice on this issue and she fights her own position by opposing the wrong person.

He’s pulling away from Grimes in Kentucky. He’s gone from down, to even, to ahead by two, to ahead by four.

Grimes is a radical liberal and Kentucky conservatives just don’t want to put that into power no matter how bad McConnell is.

Grimes supports the latest of terms abortion. She’d probably approve of offing the kid at 16 if he spouted conservative ideas.

I was more talking about unifying senate Republican candidates to put forward an actual agenda to bring to the senate floor in January. Something that voters can vote for.

You need to ask that this be removed and then ping all your ping list that you mistook Jeff Sessions for Pete Sessions again. He is not related to Pete Sessions.

I think McConnel and Boner did a decent job
playing defense, given the cards they were dealt.

playing offense, new leadership is indicated.

In addition to defeating conservatives throughout this year, the goal of the Establishment has been to nominate people that will support McConnell for leader. Tillis, Perdue, Gardner, Daines, McFadden, Rounds, Capito, Wehby, Brown, Lankford, Sullivan, as well as protected and renominated Graham, Cornyn, Alexander, Roberts, Cochran and Enzi will all vote for McConnell.

That’s why it was important to defeat McConnell in the primary, but they successfully prevented that, so he should be taken out in November. If not, we’ll get more of the same failed, anti-conservative, pro-liberal, leadership.
