Why are you so pessimistic? I tend to believe the Des Moines register poll which is very accurate in its predictions.
Ms. Ernst would sure be nice to look at in her tenure as Senator.

Nate Silver says the Des Moines Register poll is about spot-on historically, so we’ll see.

I knew the Des Moines Register poll would give a false sense of security, whether that was intended or not.
I warned people that this was not in the bag for Ernst, but no, I get called a concerntroll by trolls here at FR for my efforts in trying to warn people to get out and vote for Ernst.
Selzer & Co (company that did the Des Moines Register poll) has a better reputation than does Quinnipiac, at least as it concerns Iowa. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t wrong this time around, just that their track record is better. We’ll know tomorrow, won’t we.

I knew that the earlier Des Moines Regsiter poll was an outlier, and I tried to warn people to get out and vote for Ernst.

Seems to me that the answer isn’t calling other Freepers trolls, it’s not getting overconfident and fighting like hell against the Dems to get out the vote.
When Silver said that Obama was going to win in 2012, the right hammered him. When Silver said that the GOP had an 80% chance of winning the Senate in 2014 (back some months ago) the left hammered him.
Silver seems to be accurate, though. I hope he is...

I make my judgment — watchman? or concern troll? — not just from this one post, but from the posting history.
Anyway, when did I say “be overconfident” or “don’t fight like hell”? Yes, of course, fight like hell!
But don’t get all nancyboy about an outlier that a concern troll warns is mainstream.
