The girlfriend of Antonio Martin says she hasn’t been able to sleep since a police officer fatally shot her boyfriend, a black male teenager, at a gas station in Berkeley, Missouri on Tuesday.
Keanna Brown, 19, revisited the site of the killing on Wednesday, where she expressed her grief in an outcry of mourning.
“He didn’t deserve to die,” Brown told The Huffington Post outside the Mobil gas station where Martin was shot. “He was so scared, I’m telling you, he was so scared. He looked at me like ‘Baby, please jump in between and say something to save me.’”

She should be proud. Her boyfriend worked for and earned his fate.
Heck, he even got a gas station parking lot shrine.
Plus a small riot and a bit of looting in his honor.

Actually, it was the poor police officers,out there to protect from the likes of young Antonio who didn’t deserve to die.
I'm trying to visualize this:
Martin is pointing a gun at cop. Cop is pointing gun at Martin. Girlfriend in the middle. If Martin and cop shoot, girlfriend is dead.
So Martin wanted to kill his girlfriend but wanted it to be the cop's bullet? is that what she's saying?
OK.
So if she cared so much for Martin, then why didn't she get in the middle? She can't sleep because of the guilt she didn't do what he wanted.
ha ha ha it's fun twisting things around.
If it wasn't her weren't she, then whoever did needs to work on their grammar.
This makes no sense, she wasn't with him at the scene when he aimed his stolen gun at the cop and was shot dead. She didn't show up until a half hour later.
Martin stayed at Brown’s home often, and she said she was with him earlier in the day before he was killed. She said the two were at home when Martin decided to walk to the gas station but, after some time had passed without his return, she grew worried. She walked down to the Mobil, where she found him bleeding on the concrete. “I should’ve been there to protect him, that’s all I wanted,” Brown said. “That was my baby.”
Generally it takes a trench coat to cover the ugly....
Do we know IF he was even licensed to carry that gun?

Why didn’t the officer just shoot the gun out of his hand...
You point a gun at a cop...you get what you get.
The general understanding is that you don’t pull a gun unless you intend to use it.
Case closed, and good riddance.
The most dangerous place for black people after the mean streets is in the womb. Black lives matter.....except when they’re inconvenient.
