Via three decisions last week, Scotus repealed free government.

The Constitution says whatever the Hell 5 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices say it says. Of course, that means that if you replace 1 or 2 Justices, a different 5 Justice majority can just as easily decide that the Constitution says the complete opposite.

Absent an armed revolt (which I am NOT advocating for any Obama Justice Department Officials who are monitoring this thread), then the only option for fixing the Constitution is to elect a CONSERVATIVE President who will appoint CONSERVATIVE Justices.

But what about a Constitutional Amendment, you may ask? Anyone else remember the Equal Rights Amendment? The Liberals did everything they could to pass the ERA and failed. So the Supreme Court just pretended the ERA had passed and read it into the emanations and penumbra of the Constitution.

Even if we manage to pass Constitutional Amendments expressly limiting the authority of the Supreme Court they will just "interpret" no to mean yes and continue doing whatever they want to do anyway. The only way to fix the Court is to make sure there are a clear majority of CONSERVATIVE Justices on the Court.

The problem with appointing CONSERVATIVE Justices is that historically Republican Presidents have done a crappy job of it, batting no better than 50%. Reagan gave us Scalia and Kennedy. Bush Sr. gave us Thomas and Souter. Bush Jr. gave us Roberts and Alito.

Democrats, on the other hand, have done a remarkably consistent job of appointing ideologically pure and reliable far left wing activist Justices.

I’ve expected an eventual attempt at secession by several states. I also expect that the Feds have been prepping for this possibility, as well as a very large general uprising, for years now.

I think the Feds expect a “mother of all financial meltdowns” to occur at some point, with the resultant push by some states to leave the union. I completely expect the Feds to resist this with every ounce of force necessary, including the final solution, direct and brutal military action.

I think the outpouring of military hardware to LE agencies is part prepositioning, and part of the process of inculcation of local cops into being the Feds front line against uprisings. They do hope to squelch any drama quickly using local actors first, preventing major use of force.

History will not look kindly on a people who gaffed off their power, right, and duty to peacefully restore their freedoms.

Article V = States’ Rights.

There is no substitute.

Just wait. Social Security will be significantly reduced. But benefits to new immigrants (legal or illegal) will just keep on flowing. And you will hear the MSM say it’s okay because those on SS are mostly old & white.

One such sure sign would be the acquisition of a blue-water navy by the JapaneseChinese. JapanChina cannot be a global military power without a blue-water navy, and JapanChina cannot have a serious blue-water navy without aircraft carriers. Should JapanChina acquire even one aircraft carrier. ... and build and fortify islands in disputed oceans and annex Tibet and threaten Taiwan with nukes and ....

then we are screwed.

They weren’t tolerable then, either. Has nothing to do with whether or not the events occur.

I would say that we will collapse Economically before all of these points happen.

The day may not be that far off when the Interest on the National Debt may not be payable.

When Interest Rates move up, whether The Fed likes or not and our other twin evil, Health Care costs, also rise to the point the Federal Budget can’t pay it then our government will collapse.

What will probably happen then is that this country will break up into the different regions and that will be that.

That wouldn’t surprise me. I do think the Feds, including both parties, have become supremely arrogant. They really believe, maybe correctly, that they can do whatever they want.

Obamacare will never be insolvent, because the IRS has a claim on all taxpayers income to pay premiums.

None of this matters unless the Political Courage is there to confront Deficit Spending and the National Debt.

If nothing is done on this everything else is Moot.
And guess what no one is going to do anything.

What, precisely, do you consider the death of 50 million babies?

Exactly. Scotus saying fags can "marry" pales by comparison to scotus in '73 opening the floodgates to slaughter the unborn.

Whatever we boast of concerning guns, if we were going to do anything, we would have done it in '73.

I'd think cutting off Social Security and pensions from other states and entities wouldn't be possible, since those are paid where ever in the world one lives. They aren't an entitlement. Three states that might be able to do it, I'd think, would be Texas, Hawaii and Vermont.

Would you care to expand upon your reasons for singling out Texas, Hawaii, and Vermont. Why those particular three states?

Regards,

I just don’t think casualties on the order of what happened in the Civil War would be tolerable in this day & age.

They're tolerable to Obama's buddy,"he's just a guy that lives in my neighborhood" Bill Ayers who was acceptable to 25 million lives lost.

Great if it could happen.

Maybe the same only other peaceful way to roll back this agenda is to get an Article V convention convened and amendments passed that roll back what is happening now. Article V would be the only alternative should the rats regain control of the Senate in 2016.

Probably the only possible ways to roll back Obama and the court’s radical agenda short of violence/civil war.

When it becomes a matter of feeding you and your family or paying for Obamacare that is when the Rubber meets the Road in this mess.

-- I've expected an eventual attempt at secession by several states. I also expect that the Feds have been prepping for this possibility, as well as a very large general uprising, for years now. --

Neither of those is going to happen. Elected officials at both state and federal levels will not "break up their family." And there will not be an uprising that can't be put down by the government.

-- I think the Feds expect a "mother of all financial meltdowns" to occur at some point, with the resultant push by some states to leave the union. --

Anybody with half a brain knows a financial reckoning will happen, but the politicians are of a mind it can be managed. Again, I don't see any state seceding over the fiscal dereliction practiced by the federal government. More likely, the states would call on the feds for militarized response to roving bands of armed gangs, and use the roving gangs as a pretext for disarming the law abiding.

-- They do hope to squelch any drama quickly using local actors first, preventing major use of force. --

I think that will be successful.

Disagree. If that were true, one side or the other would have given in before the South was totally exhausted. If it had not been for Sherman, the North might have elected McClellan instead of Lincoln. McClellan’s platform was that he would sue for peace with the South.
