Civilization ended in Wilkinsburg around the time we got television. The school district tried to privatize the schools about 15 years ago but the unions shut that down. Believe it or not it was a dry town up until last Fall’s election.

It was like yesterday. Started like most days, the morning walk from the cabin to the beach bare foot stopping at the guide post for some taffy and a little balsa rubberband airplane. Julie and Molly swinging in to pick me up in a ski boat to spend some time swimming and tanning in the deep water. Lunch back at the cabin, a sandwich, little pasta salad, watermelon and a Faygo rock’n’rye pop. Now off to the docks to take out the sunfish, red/white striped sail and an orange life vest.
Then around 3:00p, my homeboy yella picks me up in his ‘64 Impala with the 6x9s, shows off his new duece duece and drives me to the neighborhood tatoo studio for my sweet 16 neck tatoo. Mom gave me a gift certificate.
Opps, almost forgot, gotta fill a 2 liter bottle with gas and burn the school security man to deff.

I made certain assumptions on reading the text. Now that I see the picture, I note that the only things I had wrong were the hairstyle and tat.
Guess that makes me racist, not that I give a crap anymore.
I guess it’s time to outlaw barbecues, grill lighters, and gasoline.

Oh, and school teachers, so we don’t risk any kid getting his feelings hurt with a reprimand.
