I hope that after being elected, President Trump reams the MSM.

C’mon Trumpster dont go there...

I dont blame GWB for 9/11 nor the market crash of ‘08.
He does get blame for going into Iraq when Saddam was under wraps and for spending like a drunken lieberal— not balancing the budget. Plus too soft hearted on the illegals.

He focused on the WOT and let the banks and mortgages go splat. He did know about that issue

Not True.

President Bush actually did try to do something about the banking and home loan industry many times but was constantly rebuffed by congress.

Don't forget - the mortgage and housing collapse was caused by congress deciding that it was discriminatory for banks to refuse mortgage loans to minorities who couldn't qualify for a standard loan and did not have the income and resources to make the loan payments.

If you care to read the facts about President Bush's efforts to address the impending crash in the mortgage industry you can start here:

I’m inclined to put Bush under sharper scrutiny for his follow up, but it takes a village as they say. If it weren’t for idiocy being suggested to him by government droids, maybe he would have gone for fewer idiotic proposals.

Memo was declassified in 2004. I hadn’t heard about this daily briefing held one month & 5 days before 9/11. It mentions Bin Ladin’s desire to hijack a US airplane.

Dubya did not keep us safe. He willfully allowed millions of criminal invaders from south of the border into our country.

All he has to do is shoot at a sacred cow. And there are dozens to shoot at.

"So using that logic was President Reagan to blame for the killing of 299 Marines in Beirut in 1983?"

Yes; It's called leadership. The guy or gal in charge is always responsible for whatever goes right or goes wrong in their command.

It was President Reagan's administration that directed the Marines to intervene more directly in Lebanon and to have the navy shell the Shouf Mountain and Suq al Gharb positions of the Muslim factions. Reagan sided with the State Department to keep the Marines at the Beirut International Airport where they were vulnerable to attack despite DoD requests to move them back aboard their ships.

Reagan was a great President and leader but he did make mistakes. That was one big one.

IT’S NOT ABOUT BLAME!!!!!!

Go back and find the audio, video or even the full transcript. He never tried to lay blame, period. He was commenting on JEB riding his brother’s “He kept us safe” meme as a campaign moniker and making the point of the FACT that it happened on GW’s watch. Something even GW said himself.

The Bushes and Clintons go all the way back to Clinton’s time as governor of Arkansas and Papa Bush’s time in the CIA and VP. I don’t want anymore Bushes or Clintons.

Hey I’m very much for Trump but bonehead statements need to be refuted no matter who says them.
