Mike Huckabee Backs Donald Trump’s Values, Points to Other Candidates’ Flip Flops
Breitbart ^ | 1/16/2016 | ALEX SWOYER

Posted on 01/16/2016 1:33:33 PM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

GOP presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is defending GOP frontrunner Donald Trump against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s (R-TX) criticism.

The Cruz campaign is pointing to Trump's interview with Tim Russert from 1999, in which, according to the Cruz campaign, "Donald Trump asserts that New York 'views' and 'attitudes' are different than other places in the country, such as Iowa."

Huckabee was asked if he thinks Trump is now sincere in what he says. "I have no reason to doubt him. He's pretty outspoken, you got to give him credit for that."

Huckabee went on to criticize Cruz, although not by name.

If you want to talk about a candidate whose switched positions you got a bunch of them out there who changed themselves on Trans Pacific Partnership, on ethanol and on foreign policy and all over the board. So you know, Donald Trump's positions if they changed, they changed over 15 years not the last 15 minutes.

Huckabee, Cruz, and Trump are all speakers at the South Carolina Tea Party Convention in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

When you paste your comment in, just backspace the apostrophes out and then replace them in the preview window. Amazing how well that works.

Another big-time spender on social welfare comes out for Trump.
Maybe someday you’ll get it.

It was from my own keyboard. Am still surprised that changed to dynamic punctuation. Makes no sense to me.

“So you know, Donald Trump’s positions if they changed, they changed over 15 years not the last 15 minutes.”

That’s been my point.

Huck has been pretty supportive of Trump. Maybe bucking for a position?

“i never thought about that, but you’re right, Huck would make a GREAT press secretary! Wonderful voice, down to earth, convincing, doesn’t get flustered, good sense of humor.”

I don’t always agree with him, but I enjoy listening to him.

Huckabee would be a great Press Secretary. His Fox host experience and his ability to communicate conservative principles are outstanding.

Never thought about it before, but I agree. We like Huckabee in general; his pro-life attitude is beyond any other, except for Santorum and Jindal, who are right there with him. Three great men [chivalrous men] for Life of the child and its mother! And they are at the bottom of the polls or out completely. What does that say about our nation? [Check out the tagline!]

I don’t know how someone who really loves God could even have a taste for rock and roll which is essentially the music of rebellion against God in it’s many forms, new age religion, drugs and fornication to name a few. Yuk!

It would be much more fun to have Diamond & Silk be the Press Secretaries. Can you imagine the fits the press would have when two African-American ladies tell them to “Listen!”

RINO Huckabee would be a horrible VP pick. Trump is way too smart for that.

Trump should pick a NON-politician, a fabulous businessman, a younger version of Trump himself! Then the theme will be consistent......Outsider businessmen rescue America ~ Yes!

The article says that Trump didn’t donate to any established charities for the 911 victims. We’ve seen numerous times that he is generous to individuals who need support.

I've heard plenty of stories about Trump's generosity and I believe them all. I also believe that he dug into his own pocket to contribute to post 9/11 efforts rather than writing a business check to deduct.

But, I just threw that out there as one more example of how the media can trash some one when they get on a roll.

The huffers are out in droves of late. And it seems the hardware stores are sold out of their favorite inhalants.
