The personalized letters target individual Iowa voters and identifies them as having failed to vote in prior elections. They are admonished and then encouraged to vote this year. In addition the letters identify the neighbors of the voter, and provides their voting history.
The text reads:
"You are receiving this election notice because of low expected voter turnout in your area. Your individual voting history as well as your neighbors' are public record. Their scores are published below, and many of them will see your score as well. CAUCUS ON MONDAY TO IMPROVE YOUR SCORE and please encourage your neighbors to caucus as well. A follow-up notice may be issued following Monday's caucuses".
In an effort to shame the recipient, the notice also informs the targeted voter their neighbors have also been notified of the recipients poor voting record.

“It’s safe to say Cruz is not involved in personally approving every mailer that goes out and most likely had not seen this one before it went out.”
Whether that is true or not, it is safe to say that Curz will say that, that he did not know about it, like he did not know he was a Canadian citizen, the the loans were not correctly notified, etc.

The only thing that you left off in your rant is the public naming of private citizens who are not involved in the fight. Sort of like a boxer stepping out of the ring and wanting to box with spectators.

The prime required talent of a senior executive is not his debate skill, but his judgement, and ability to find good people to delegate important duties to.
Cruz does not currently impress me with his ability to install good people into his organization.
This is bad for a person like Ted because he claims he is the guy against NSA mass data collection and he is pro privacy.
Then he uses this tactic to publically shame people into voting for him.
If Ted can’t see the hypocrisy in that, well, nobody can help him.
I live in Florida and I’ve never received anything like this before. Ever.
I heard this guy yesterday trying to defend Cruz being born in Canada. He stuttered and tried to deflect, he cleared his throat, he stuttered and then said something like we already have 114 percent of the vote from our supporters.
The guy was Cruz’s campaign manager!
